When your hormones are in harmony, life flows a little easier. But when they’re not, even the smallest things can feel heavy: sleepless nights, anxious thoughts, stubborn acne, intense cravings, painful cramps, or just feeling “off” without knowing why.

Balancing hormones isn’t about perfection, it’s about support. From nourishing meals and gentle movement to magnesium, herbal medicine, and deep rest and relaxation, there are so many ways to work with your cycle rather than against it.

If you feel like your hormones are running the show lately, I’m here to help you rebalance, tune back in and find your rhythm again.

True energy doesn’t come from another coffee or a sugar hit. It comes from balanced blood sugar, nourished cells, and a nervous system that isn’t always in overdrive.

When things like poor sleep, stress, infections, nutrient gaps or insulin resistance pile up, your body’s natural energy production (hello mitochondria!) can start to slow down, leaving you flat, foggy, or just not quite yourself.

But the good news is... fatigue is a sign to pause and listen. With the right investigations, food, movement, supplements and support, your body knows how to bounce back.

If your energy’s been running on empty for a while now, I’m here to help you refill your cup. In a way that’s sustainable, gentle, and aligned with your body’s needs.

You might’ve come across the word "Dysbiosis". It’s often used when we’re talking about imbalances in the gut microbiome. Technically, it refers to a disruption in the normal balance of bacteria, yeasts, and other microbes that live in the digestive tract. This imbalance can happen in a few ways: too many potentially harmful microbes, not enough beneficial ones, or reduced diversity (number) overall.

I often work with people experiencing symptoms linked to dysbiosis. Things like bloating, gastrointestinal pain, brain fog, fatigue, anxiety, skin issues, and irregular bowel habits. These symptoms can be frustrating and debilitating, especially when the root cause isn’t obvious. But factors such as diet, medications (especially antibiotics), stress, infections, and even birth and childhood history can all influence the microbiome.

The good news is, our gut is constantly adapting. With the right support, it’s possible to restore balance. Using testing where needed, targeted nutrients or herbs, and evidence-informed lifestyle and dietary changes, we can create a clearer picture and a plan that actually works.

If this sounds like something you’ve been navigating, I’d be happy to help you explore what’s going on beneath the surface.

Toxins are everywhere. In the air we breathe, the food we eat, the products we use. With over 10,000 man-made chemicals in use, we are living in the most toxic time in history. Our bodies are designed to process and clear them out… but sometimes that “bucket” gets full.

Low-tox living is about tipping that bucket out gently. Swapping plastic containers for glass, opening your doors and windows more often, filtering your water, switching to non-toxic cleaning or skincare. These are small, simple shifts that make a real difference.

You don’t have to change everything overnight. But if you’re ready to start somewhere, I’m here to guide you.

Many women think feeling tired all the time is just part of having a busy life, but most don't know how common iron deficiency really is, and how it could be a major contributor to their feelings of fatigue.

Iron is a major component of haemaglobin and helps carry oxygen around your body, so when levels drop, your energy, mood, and even focus can take a hit. For some, it’s due to inadequate nutrition or heavy periods. For others, it’s poor absorption or other causes of blood-loss.

There are simple ways to support your iron naturally. Through intake of iron-rich foods as well as foods containing supporting nutrients for haemaglobin synthesis, and looking after gut health. But if things still feel off, it might be time to dig a little deeper.

If this is something you’re navigating, I’m here to help you figure out what’s really going on and how to feel more like yourself again.

Many women see periods as an inconvenience and something to push through. But understanding your cycle and the power it holds, can help shift this paradigm. This can be difficult though when every month you are confronted with unpleasant, and sometimes downright debilitating symptoms such as pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).

Up to 75% of women experience PMS, often due to normal hormonal shifts that affect brain chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. Bloating, mood swings, sore breasts… they’re common, but they’re not just “part of being a woman.”

The good news? Diet, sleep, movement, supplements and stress support can make a big difference. Tracking your symptoms can also help you spot patterns and feel more in tune with your body.

If PMS is affecting your daily life, or low mood lingers beyond your period, it might be time to take a closer look. I’m here if you’d like support.

You’ve probably seen the word “detox” thrown around in wellness spaces, often tied to juice cleanses or quick fixes. But real, effective detoxification is actually something your body is doing all the time.

Every day, your liver, kidneys, skin, lungs and digestive system are working together to transform and eliminate toxins from food, air, water, cosmetics, and even your own metabolism.
But when that system gets overloaded, when your “toxin bucket” fills faster than your body can empty it, you might start feeling flat, foggy, or unwell.

Supporting your natural detox pathways doesn’t mean extremes. It’s about creating a low-tox lifestyle that gives your body space to do what it’s designed to do.

That might look like:
💧 Staying well-hydrated with pure water
🥬 Eating more greens and wholefoods
🧘🏽 Making space for rest and mindfulness
🚿 Dry skin brushing, gentle movement, or hydrotherapy
🧴 Reducing toxins in your home and skincare

Simple shifts, made gradually, can create real change. Supporting your energy, clarity, sleep and overall wellbeing.

If you’re curious about how to support your detox systems naturally, I’d love to talk with you.

You’d be surprised how many everyday products quietly mess with our hormones. From what we eat and drink to the products we slather on our skin, endocrine-disrupting chemicals are everywhere. And while we can’t live in a bubble, we can make choices that reduce our exposure.

I often chat with clients about simple swaps that don’t feel overwhelming: choosing organic produce when possible (or just giving fruit and veg a good wash and scrub), switching to glass or stainless steel containers, finding personal care products with ingredients you can actually pronounce, keeping fresh air flowing through the house, investing in a decent water filter, and even rethinking fabrics – opting for natural fibres like cotton or linen without synthetic dyes. These changes might feel small, but they really do add up.

What changes have you made around your home or lifestyle to support your hormonal health? I’d love to hear what’s worked for you or if you're just getting started, feel free to reach out. I’d be more than happy to help you figure out some easy, low-stress ways to begin.

Weight loss can feel like a loaded topic. We’re constantly bombarded with unrealistic body standards and fear-based messaging, and it’s easy to get caught in a cycle of frustration and self-doubt. But the truth is, you don’t need to change your body to be worthy of love, respect or comfort in your own skin.

That said, there might be times in life when you do want to lose weight – for health, fitness, or personal reasons. If that’s where you’re at, the key is finding an approach that actually supports your body, rather than fighting against it.

As a Naturopath specialising in women’s hormonal health, I see many women who feel like they’ve tried everything. Every diet, every fitness trend with little or no lasting result. And it’s usually because the deeper issue hasn’t been addressed.

So instead of pushing harder, we pause and ask:
What’s actually standing in the way of weight loss for you?

Is it inflammation? An undiagnosed thyroid imbalance? Insulin resistance? Fluid retention? Hormones doing their own thing?

In our consultations, this is always the first step: we look under the surface. Yes, we might refine your diet or movement routine, but more importantly, we figure out what your body needs to let go of the weight it’s been holding onto, both physically and emotionally.

With the right support, weight loss can become less about punishment and more about nourishment, balance, and trust in your body again.

Curious about what might be holding you back? You can book a consultation through my website. Let's explore it together. Link in bio!

Easing Anxiety and Stress through Movement

Life gets overwhelming sometimes. The pace, the pressure, the constant juggling ...it all adds up. And when anxiety or stress starts creeping in more often than you’d like, it can feel hard to know what will actually help.

While professional support is always important when things feel too heavy, there are also some beautiful, natural ways to start creating space for calm in your day. One of the most powerful tools? Movement.

Here are a few gentle and grounding ways to move your body that can help ease the mental load:

A walk, swim or jog
Cardio releases endorphins and helps shift mental tension.

Yoga or Tai Chi
These slower, mindful practices help calm the nervous system and bring you back to your breath.

Strength training
Lifting or resistance work can boost mood, confidence and resilience.

These kinds of movement aren’t about performance. They’re about care. About making space for your nervous system to reset, even just a little.

If you’ve been feeling on edge lately and want support that takes all of you into account - mind, body and emotions - I’d be happy to talk with you about how naturopathy can help.
