👋 Meet Michelle - Michelle has been part of the Care Companion Queensland family for over a year, and if there’s a job to be done — chances are she’s already doing it. From payroll and admin, to HR, bookkeeping, and even cleaning HQ, Michelle truly wears every hat (sometimes all at once 😅).

She’s the mum of the office — firm when she needs to be, but always with your best interests at heart. She might give you that look when your timesheet’s late or your inbox is messy, but we all know it’s just Michelle making sure the team stays on track and thrives together.

Outside of CCQ, Michelle is a proud mum of three boys and an even prouder nanna to one beautiful little girl. Her happy place? Fishing, laughing with loved ones, and enjoying life’s simple moments.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Michelle keeping the wheels turning — and keeping us all accountable (and caffeinated) along the way.

.goti – The Brains Behind CCQ

With 16 years of nursing experience, Vincent is the quiet powerhouse of Care Companion Queensland. Thoughtful, strategic, and incredibly driven, he’s known for setting big goals — and making them happen. From navigating complex care needs to building systems that keep us running smoothly, Vincent is the one we trust to get things done right.

When he’s not leading behind the scenes at CCQ, Vincent is all about family. As a proud stepdad, he loves spending time with his loved ones and creating memories together — especially at theme parks. Sea World’s Leviathan is a personal favourite, and yes, he’s usually the one screaming the loudest. Vincent also has a real passion for real estate and interior decorating. In fact, if you’ve visited our office, you’ve already seen his design flair in action — the space was styled entirely by him.

Vincent is also a lifelong learner and dedicated podcast listener. His playlists span everything from business and self-improvement to ancient history and comedy, always sparking fresh ideas that inspire the team and help shape CCQ’s forward-thinking culture.

Fun fact about Vincent:
He’s colour blind — so while we double-check colours in our marketing designs, his sharp eye for layout and detail has saved more than one campaign.

Participant Milestone Spotlight! ⭐️

Meet Josh, one of our talented participants at Care Companion!
Josh recently achieved a huge milestone: he’s become a Meals on Wheels volunteer!

He’s now helping deliver nutritionally balanced meals to people who may be unable to cook or shop for themselves due to age, illness, or disability. This amazing role not only supports the community but also empowers Josh to make a positive difference every day.

We are incredibly proud of what Josh has achieved — he’s an inspiration to all of us!

👋 Meet Caroline, one of our incredible Team Leaders at CCQ!

Born in Brazil, Caroline moved to Australia two years ago and has been part of the CCQ family ever since. Before joining us, she worked as a practicing psychologist in Brazil — bringing deep insight into mental health, behaviour support, and client-centred care.

At CCQ, Caroline plays a key role in mentoring support workers, ensuring our services are person centred and culturally responsive. Her background helps us better understand and support participants with complex needs, and her warm leadership style has made her a favourite among both staff and families.

“What I love most about my role is having the opportunity to support people and witness the positive changes in their lives. Being part of someone’s transformation, no matter how big or small, is incredibly rewarding, and it’s what inspires me every day.

Fun fact about me:
I played violin for six years as a teenager and was part of an orchestra. I’m left-handed, but I kick with my right leg and can only use scissors with my right hand.

Meet Michael — Our Operations Manager and the Voice of CCQ!

If you've ever spoken with Care Companion Queensland, chances are you've heard Michael’s warm, reassuring voice on the other end. With the gift of the gab and a heart for people, Michael is the one who keeps communication flowing, whether it's checking in on participants, guiding team members, or making sure every little detail is just right.

Michael has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years, bringing not only clinical experience but also genuine empathy and leadership to our nurse-led team. As our Operations Manager, he's the steady hand behind the scenes, ensuring that CCQ runs smoothly and compassionately.

Outside of work, Michael is a highly active family man who starts his day at 4:30 AM and hits the gym every morning—unless he's rostered on for his clinical role at the hospital. He also loves cooking and is often found testing out new recipes for the family.

✨ Fun fact about Michael: He’s our go-to guy for the latest podcasts and supplements — if it boosts health or happiness, Michael’s probably already tried it! And just a little secret he likes listening to Mariah Carey while driving too.

Welcoming Our Ipswich SIL Support Team! 🏡

We recently held a staff induction for our newest team members who will be delivering care and support to participants living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment in Ipswich.

The induction focused on building genuine relationships, understanding Positive Behaviour Support, and preparing our team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each participant’s needs.

We’re looking forward to the positive impact this passionate team will make in supporting independence, safety, and wellbeing within the home and community. 💜
