February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

Did you know Ovarian cancer is Australia’s most lethal female
cancer with a 49% 5-year survival rate?

70% of those diagnosed with advanced ovarian
cancer will have a recurrence within 3 years.

Symptoms of ovarian cancer are often vague
making the disease difficult to detect

There is no accurate and reliable early detection test
- a pap smear or cervical screening test does not
detect ovarian cancer.

Your family history of cancer is important when
understanding your personal risk of ovarian cancer
