The scariest feeling for the nervous system is:
I’m alone.

Not “I’m busy.”
Not “I’m behind.”

Alone.

Because alone used to mean:
no help.
no witness.
no safety.

So, loneliness can look like:
- anxiety
- clinginess
- shutting down
- picking fights
- scrolling until you can’t feel

If that’s you…

It’s not drama.
It’s protection.

A tiny practice:
Put one hand on your chest.
And say (out loud if you can):

"I’m with you."

Not to fix it.
To give your body what it needs.

A 60-second reset for the moments you’re about to lose it.

Not to make you “calm.”
To make you *safe enough* to choose.

1) Feet on the floor
2) Eyes on one steady point
3) Exhale longer than inhale (3 rounds)
4) Notice 3 points of contact (feet, seat, hands)

Then speak.
Then respond.

They came to me exhausted.

Not “a bit tired.”
That deep tired.

Where everything feels personal.

Where the body is bracing before the day even starts.

The work wasn’t “try harder.”
It was:
- helping the body feel safe enough to soften
- learning the inputs that change the output
- building capacity, one small repetition at a time

And slowly…
Sleep came easier.
Reactivity softened.
The spiral didn’t grab as hard.

Not because life got perfect.
Because the nervous system had more room.

Your breathing pattern is an input.
And your nervous system is always reading inputs.

When the diaphragm is tight,
and breathing gets shallow,
the brain can read it as:
“Something’s wrong.”

Not because you’re imagining it.
Because your body is built to interpret sensation.

Try this (gentle, not forceful):
- One hand on belly, one on chest
- Inhale softly through your nose
- Exhale a little longer than the inhale
- Feel the belly soften on the exhale

Do 6 breaths.

Then check:
Is your jaw softer?
Are your shoulders lower?

Safety isn’t a mindset.
It’s a body state.

Numbness isn’t who you are.
It’s what your nervous system does to protect you.

Sometimes the system decides:
“It’s safer not to feel.”

Because feeling used to mean:
too much.
no support.
no place to land.

So the body goes quiet.

You’re not ungrateful.
Your body is asking for safety first.

A tiny start:
Hand on chest.
Notice the temperature.
Notice the contact.
One long exhale.

Not to fix.
To reconnect.

You can lie down.

But if your nervous system still feels unsafe, your body won’t settle.

That’s why you can be exhausted and still:

- scroll
- tidy
- overthink
- lie awake

It’s not laziness.

It’s protection.

Our Story

I love Kinesiology simply because of the results that I have personally achieved. I suffered for many years with headaches and working with my kinesiologist over a number of sessions across multiple areas of my life - the past pain and stresses that I was carrying forward with me, the current issues that I have and also my dreams for the future - I not only managed to ‘fix’ the daily headache pain, but I also gained huge insight into myself and my personality and understanding on my drivers and what I actually want from life.

I re-trained as a kinesiologist and I go to work each day loving what I do.
