ನಾದಬಿಂದುಕಳಾತೀತ, ಆದಿಯಾಧಾರ ನೀನೆ ಅಯ್ಯಾ !
ಆರೂಢದ ಕೂಟದ ಸುಖವ ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಯ್ಯ ತಾನೆ ಬಲ್ಲ !

See the wonder of having dispersed the
entire darkness! Lord Koodalasangamadeva knows
well the nature of my union with his resplendent light.

ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಮಸಕವ ಕಳೆದಿಪ್ಪ ಇರವ ನೋಡಾ !
ಬೆಳಗಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಗು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವಾಗಿ,
ಬೆಳಗು ಬೆಳಗ ಕೂಡಿದ ಕೂಟವ
ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಯ್ಯ ತಾನೆ ಬಲ್ಲ !

I had the distinction of being greater
than the grate. How can I describe
my reticent state while I am mingled
with the effulgent light of God Koodalasanagamadeva?

ಘನಗಂಬಿರ ಮಹಾಘನದೊಳಗೆ
ಘನಕ್ಕೆ ಘನವಾಗಿದ್ದೆನಯ್ಯಾ.
ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಮದೇವಯ್ಯನೆಂಬ
ಮಹಾಬೆಳಗಿನ ಬೆಳಗಿನೊಳಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂಬ ಶಬ್ದ
ಮುಗ್ಧವಾದುದೆನೇನೆಂಬೆನಯ್ಯಾ?

There are several persons shining
with their light. But our Koodalasangamadeva
is distinguished as a light of lights.

ಸಹಸ್ರಶೀರ್ಷನಾದಿಪುರುಷನು.
ವೇದಪುರುಷನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು.
ತ್ರಿಪಾದ ಊಧ್ರ್ವನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು.
ಉದನ್ಮುಖನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು.
ಉದಯಪುರುಷನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು.
ವಿರಾಟ್ಪುರುಷನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು.
ಆದಿಪುರುಷನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು.
ವಿಯತ್ಪುರುಷನೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು.
ತದ್ವಿಯತ್ಪುರುಷ ಪುರುಷರಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರಭೆ ನೋಡಿದರೆ,
ವೇದನಾದಾತೀತ ತೂರ್ಯಪರಮಾನಂದ ನಿರವಯ
ಷಟ್ತ್ರಿಂಶತ್ಪ್ರಭಾಪಟಲಪ್ರಭೆಯ ಬೆಳಗಿದೆ ನೋಡಿರೆ.
ಬೆಳಗಿನೊಳಗಣ ಮಹಾಬೆಳಗಿನ ಬೆಳಗು ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಯ್ಯ.

Our Lord Koodalasanagamadeva is a conquerer of the world,
Demons, self, sutra,men,Urva,Aswa,
Go,Arj, Omniscient, beyond the reach of
vedic hymns, embodiment of highest bliss
and as brilliant as the light of crores
of rays of suns put together.

ವಿಶ್ವಜಿತನು, ದನುಜಿತನು, ಸರ್ವಜಿತನು,
ಸುತ್ರಾಮಜಿತನು, ನೃಜಿತನು, ಅಶ್ವಜಿತನು, ಗೋಜಿತನು,
ಅರ್ಜೀತನು, ಸ್ವಸಂವೇದ್ಯನು, ವೇದನಾದಾತೀತನು.
ತೂರ್ಯಪರಮಾನಂದ ನಿರವಯ,
ಸೂರ್ಯಕೋಟಿಪ್ರಭೆಯ ಬೆಳಗಿನ
ಸಹಸ್ರಕಿರಣದ ಅಗ್ರಪಟಲದ ಬೆಳಗು ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಯ್ಯ.

Lord, Koodalasangamadeva is beyond the reach
of Vedas, is beyond six varnas, is beyond
Thirty eight Kalas and beyond ether itself.

ವೇದಾತೀತ, ಷಡುವರ್ಣರಹಿತ, ಅಷ್ಟತ್ರಿಂಶತ್ಕಳಾತೀತ,
ವ್ಯೋಮಾತೀತ, ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಮದೇವ.

Vedas shuddered witout knowing
the nature of Linga, Sastras declare
Linga as incapable of comprehension.
Logic is convinced that Linga cannot be
known by reasoning. Agama became
futile in their effort to approach Linga.
Mortals and Devas found it impossible
to discover the base and the top of Linga.
The saint alone knows the intensity of
Our Lord, Koodalasangamadeva!

ವೇದ ವೇಧಿಸಲರಿಯದೆ ಅಭೇದ್ಯಲಿಂಗವೆಂದು ನಡನಡುಗಿತ್ತು.
ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಸಾಧಿಸಲರಿಯದೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯಲಿಂಗವೆಂದು ಸಾರುತ್ತೈದಾವೆ.
ತರ್ಕ ತರ್ಕಿಸಲರಿಯದೆ ಅತಕ್ರ್ಯಲಿಂಗವೆಂದು ಮನಂಗೊಳ್ಳವು.
ಆಗಮ ಗಮಿಸಲರಿಯದೆ ಅಗಮ್ಯಲಿಂಗವೆಂದು ಹೋದವು.
ನರರು ಸುರರು ಅಂತುವ ಕಾಣರು,
ನಮ್ಮ ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಶರಣ ಬಲ್ಲ.

What does it matter if there are
several openings in the body?
Supreme being resides in a single
place. When one contemplates god
as residing in one's conscience,
He casts off delusion and becomes one with God.

ಹುತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಏಸು ಬಾಯಾದಡೇನು ಸರ್ಪನಿಪ್ಪುದು ಒಂದೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ !
ಭಾವ ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಭ್ರಮೆಯಳಿದು ನೋಡಾ;
ಆ ಭಾವ ಭಾವಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಭಾವ ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಮದೇವಾ.

show mere symbols of God but not
the real form.Linga is not tainted by body.
The nature of Lord Koodalasangamadeva is beyond
the comprehension of every one.

ಮಹಾಲಿಂಗದ ಸ್ಥಾನಂಗಳು
ಮಹಾಲಿಂಗದ ಪೆಸರಲ್ಲದೆ ಲಿಂಗ ಬೇರೆ ರೂಪು ನಿರೂಪಲ್ಲ.
ಲಿಂಗ ಬೇರೆ ಕಾಯಸಂಧಿಯಲ್ಲ,
ಲಿಂಗ ಬೇರೆ ಜೀವಸಂಧಿಯಲ್ಲ.
ಲಿಂಗ ಬೇರೆ ಮಹಾಘನದಿಂದತ್ತಲೆ
ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಮನ ನಿಲವು ಆರಿಗೆಯೂ ಅರಿಯಬಾರದು.

ಆದಿ ಮಧ್ಯ ಅವಸಾನವನರಿಯದ
ಅಗಮ್ಯ ವೇದಾದಿಸಕಲಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಪ್ರಮಾಣರು
ಅದನಂತಿಂತೆಂದುಪಮಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ,

Jangama pervades every where.
This is the essential rule of conduct
of a Shiva's devotee, my creator,
Koodalasangamadeva has occupied every inch of space.

ಕುರುಹಿಲ್ಲ ಕುರುಹಿಲ್ಲ ಲಿಂಗವೆಂದೆಂಬಡೆ,
ತೆರಹಿಲ್ಲ ತೆರಹಿಲ್ಲ ಜಂಗಮವೆಂದೆಂಬಡೆ.
ಇದೆ ನೋಡಾ ಶಿವಾಚಾರ, ಇದೆ ನೋಡಾ ಶಿವದೊಡಕು !
ಆತ್ಮನಾಂ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಃ ಸ್ವಭಾವ' ಎಂದುದಾಗಿ
ಮುಟ್ಟಬಾರದಠಾವ ಮರೆಗೊಂಡಿರ್ಪ
ಮಮಕರ್ತ ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಮದೇವ. !

How can I explain the extra-ordinary
greatness belonging to Lord, Koodalasanagamadeva?

ಏನೆಂಬೆ, ಏನೆಂಬೆ ಒಂದೆರಡಾದುದ?
ಏನೆಂಬೆ, ಏನೆಂಬೆ ಎರಡೊಂದಾದುದ?
ಏನೆಂಬೆ, ಏನೆಂಬೆ ಅವಿರಳ ಘನವ,
ಮಹಾದಾನಿ ಕೂಡಲಸಂಗಮದೇವಯ್ಯ ತಾನೆ ಬಲ್ಲ.!
