💫Physically, massage therapy helps by:
✨Releasing muscle tension: Skilled touch softens tight muscles and fascia, improving circulation and easing pain.
✨Lowering cortisol levels: Cortisol is the “stress hormone.” Massage can reduce it, helping the body shift from “fight or flight” to “rest and digest.”
✨Activating the parasympathetic nervous system: This leads to slowed heart rate, deeper breathing, and an overall sense of calm.

✨Create safe, nurturing touch: Offering grounded, nonjudgmental presence, it allows the client to feel deeply safe — sometimes safer than they’ve felt in a long time — opening doors to emotional release or processing.
