It is estimated that at any point in time, 1 in 6 Australian workers will be living with mental illness.

Myths and misunderstandings about mental illness can lead to stigma and can be extremely damaging, especially within the workplace.

Reducing stigma through understanding the truth about mental illness leads to better outcomes for everyone πŸ‘‡

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the World Su***de Prevention Day Community Walk and Breakfast last Wednesday. The morning included a riverside walk, a shared breakfast, meaningful conversations, and a time to remember those we have lost.

Events like these remind us of the importance of coming together to support people in our community who may be struggling. Su***de is preventable, and by working together we can help create hope and connection.

This was a collaborative event with StandBy Support After Su***de, Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, Thirrili - Indigenous Su***de Postvention Service with the support of the Alice Springs Town Council.
