FLASHBACK FRIDAY - How much can one opportunity change a life?

After losing his job, Clyde was struggling with anxiety, depression, and a loss of confidence.

Getting back into work felt out of reach.

Then he visited APM’s Gosnells office and met the APM Employment Services team.

For the latest look back at people who successfully achieved their goals, we revisit Clyde who made an incredible turnaround with the right support.

The same day he approached our team, Clyde was introduced to the CROWNability program – a partnership with Crown Perth.

This introduction led to a new opportunity with a Bar Useful role.

With support from APM and CROWNability, Clyde quickly found what he needed to support his mental health and rebuild his confidence.

He gained a routine, extra income, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Watch Clyde talk about his experience in the video below and visit our website for more stories of inclusive employment success.

We’re sharing Clyde’s story along with other people whose lives have changed for the better in the lead up to the launch of Inclusive Employment Australia on 1 November.

The program replaces Disability Employment Services and aims to give more people with disability, injury, or health conditions access to tailored support to find meaningful work.
