Remember back during Covid, when we all had to keep a distance from touching others? For some people living with a disability, life is always like that! Less hugs, less shaking hands, just less touch overall. So the simple act of giving our participants a hand-massage, then painting their nails, is an act of touching kindness! Making a connection like this can be kind & gentle, for both the participant and their carer!
Offer to paint someone's nails today! You'll be surprised how it brings you close, encourages conversation, and all in the spirit of some pretty nails to enjoy afterwards!
