Looking for a HR Manager to join our amazing Team in Alice Springs.
Annual Package: (70k – 80k) + Super

In this role you will be responsible for the entire Human Resources function as this is a stand-alone role, you will be instrumental in driving human resource strategies and initiatives, providing your skills to support NADSCare Team, as well has HR transactional support to the firm. This role will require an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiatives on tasks. You will enjoy being agile and flexible as this role is a true HR position.
Your responsibilities will be :
· Conducted regular meetings with staff to discuss progress and identify areas of improvement.
· Maintained up-to-date records of employee attendance, payroll information, vacation requests.
· Recruiting staff, conduct induction process, review the performance, create appraisal forms and develop programs to train staff and do exit interviews and self assessment.
· Assessed team member's skill sets and assigned tasks accordingly for optimal efficiency.
· Develop and implement performance management system to plan, appraise and improve team’s performance.
· Organized special events such as conferences or training sessions for employees.
· Scheduled interviews for potential candidates and conducted reference checks prior to hire.
· Monitored staff performance and addressed issues.
· Trained employees on additional job positions to maintain coverage of roles.
· Completed thorough opening, closing and shift change functions to maintain operational standards each day.
· Communicated company directives and programs to associates and ensured all follow-up items were completed accurately and timely.
· Created training modules and documentation to train staff.
· Monitoring of the NGO Training System to ensure completion of courses – advising Operations Managers where any deficiencies are observed
· Overseeing the implementation, communication, development and regular review of HR policies and procedures.
· Monitor the full implementation of the WHS Framework ensuring accurate documentation, reporting and records are maintained.
· Train, support and empower staff, clients and volunteers to understand and carry out their role and responsibilities for maintaining a safe working environment in all aspects of service delivery.
· Ensure incident and accident reporting and investigation is undertaken.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum Certificate IV in Human Resource Management or equivalent degree in human resource management
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same field (Human Resources)
The ability to present and facilitate group meetings and events
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially when under pressure.
Advanced understanding of key Industry related awards and Fair Work Practices and processes.
Excellent technical knowledge of PC, Laptops, Printers and peripherals and knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications.
