The National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) in Australia aims to detect lung cancer early in high-risk individuals through low-dose computed tomography (CT) scans. The program is available to those aged 50-70 who currently smoke or have quit in the past 10 years, with a history of smoking at least 30 pack-years. The program is free and utilizes the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) for managing participant information and reminders.

😲 Did you know?
So far in May, we’ve had 34 missed appointments—that’s around 5.5 hours of doctor time lost!

We do our best to make sure patients can see a doctor when they need to, so it’s really disheartening when appointments go to waste.

If you no longer need your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible—your cancellation could mean the world to someone else needing care.

🙏 Thanks for helping us support our community and make the most of everyone’s time!
