It's that time of year again and we’ll be taking a little holiday break!

Here’s when we’ll be open over Christmas:
📅 Dec 24: Normal clinic hours
📅 Dec 25–28: CLOSED
📅 Dec 29–31: Altered hours - Contact clinic for more information
📅 Jan 1-4: CLOSED

In the event of an emergency while the clinic is closed, please call emergency services (if applicable), go to ED or attend your local Urgent Care Clinic.

Please note that phones will be switched off and emails will not be monitored while the clinic is closed.

We will be back to normal clinic hours from Jan 5th!

In the month of November we had a total of 23 missed appointments. This equates to almost four hours of clinical time that doctors have been unable to see patients.

With the festive season upon us we kindly ask for patients to contact the clinic and cancel appointments if they are unable to attend, so that we are able to offer said appointments to patients on our daily and ever-growing cancellation list.

📣 Good News! Our Vaccine Fridge Is Back Up and Running 🧊💉

We’re happy to let our patients know that our vaccination fridge is fully operational again. All vaccines are being stored safely, and we are resuming vaccination services as normal.

FRIDGE UPDATE

Please note that our vaccine fridge is still out of action. We are working hard to get our new fridge up and running for vaccine storage.

We appreciate the understanding and support that has come from all patients that have had appointments cancelled over the last two weeks.

We are hoping to be back up and running in a week or two (fingers crossed!)

🩺 National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week (Australia) 💙

This week, we join Australians in raising awareness about cervical cancer prevention and early detection.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. Regular Cervical Screening Tests (5 yearly, unless stated otherwise by a health professional) and the HPV vaccine are powerful tools that can help protect you.

Here at Jupiter Health Alkimos, we encourage all women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 74 to keep up to date with their screenings. If you’re unsure when your last test was, our friendly team can help you check or book an appointment.
