Since 1952, Sunnyfield has grown in depth and breadth of support services. Working together with families, friends and dedicated staff, Sunnyfield supports a brighter future for people with disability. Guided by our values of respect, trust, honesty and innovation, it’s our mission to enrich the lives of people with intellectual disability through person-centred active support that creates choice, opportunities and skills for life. Day to day, we deliver nearly 2,000 support services for people with disability, including children, teenagers, adults and seniors across NSW and the ACT.

✨ Microbusiness Kick-Starts at Wallsend Hub ✨

Wallsend clients have launched their very own microbusiness, crafting handmade goods like body scrubs, candles, spices and potted succulents. 🌱🕯️

Their first market at the Hub was a huge success, with family, friends and neighbours coming together to support and shop. This is just the beginning of an exciting journey powered by passion and creativity.

⚽🏀 Game on in Western Sydney!
Our clients had a blast at the Heroes with Ability Gala Day — showcasing their sporting skills, building confidence, and most importantly, having fun!
Over the ten-week program, participants are trying out new sports from soccer to volleyball, connecting with their community, and wrapping it all up with a dance party full of karaoke and good times. 💙

Cessnock hub clients have been busy polishing up their first aid training with our Ability Aid Program. A huge thank you to Glencore for making this possible through funding and the Australian Red Cross for facilitating the course. 🌟

This program has been designed to empower people with disability by providing access to essential first aid training. We know that people with disability often face barriers in accessing standard training, which can leave them less prepared during emergencies. Ability Aid helps break down those barriers, ensuring everyone has the knowledge and confidence to act when it matters most.

Our Cessnock crew not only gained valuable skills but also had an amazing time learning together and they’re feeling super confident with what they’ve achieved. 💚

What an incredible day at Beach2Beach! 💚 Team Sunnyfield brought the green spirit and plenty of energy from Dee Why all the way to the finish line at Newport Beach.

With 130 participants walking, running, and cheering each other on, the day was filled with camaraderie, delicious cupcakes lasting memories and even a 2nd place position in the Top Teams Challenge.

Most importantly, every dollar raised supports Sunnyfield’s Get Active program helping people with disability stay active and live healthier, happier lives.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, families, supporters, and fundraisers who made this event possible.
