Our mission is to enrich the lives of people with disability by creating choice, opportunities, and skills for life.

Since 1952, Sunnyfield has grown in depth and breadth of support services. Working together with families, friends and dedicated staff, Sunnyfield supports a brighter future for people with disability. Guided by our values of respect, trust, honesty and innovation, it’s our mission to enrich the lives of people with intellectual disability through person-centred active support that creates choice, opportunities and skills for life. Day to day, we deliver nearly 2,000 support services for people with disability, including children, teenagers, adults and seniors across NSW and the ACT.

There was plenty of green and plenty of fun across Sunnyfield yesterday. 🍀💚

Our community came together for a St Patrick’s Day lunch, music and dancing, and with our CEO Andrew Hyland proudly flying the Irish flag at Sunnyfield, the celebrations felt extra fitting.

The day also coincided with Sunnyfield’s 74th anniversary, making it a double celebration.

A wonderful day of connection, celebration and Sunnyfield green. 🌱

74 years of Sunnyfield. 🌱

What began with a group of determined parents in 1952 has grown into a community supporting thousands of people with disability across NSW.

As we celebrate 74 years of Sunnyfield, we reflect on how far we have come and look ahead to the future we are continuing to build together.

Thank you to the clients, families, staff, supporters and community who truly make Sunnyfield a place where people can Live, Learn, Work and Belong.

Meet William, who has been part of the Sunnyfield Aspire Café team since 2023.
During his time at the café, he has learnt how to cook a range of items including brownies, shortbread and cheese bread, as well as how to make coffee. ☕

William enjoys being part of a strong, supportive team and the connections he has built along the way. He shared, “I am very happy to have good friends and a good teacher.”

What an incredible way to kick off the season! 🏉💙

A huge thank you to all of our amazing Sunnyfield volunteers who spent Saturday night in the rain selling raffle tickets at the Manly Sea Eagles season opening game. Your energy, enthusiasm and big smiles helped make the day such a success.

It was also a very special evening for Ben and William, who had the experience of a lifetime! Not only did they get to meet some Manly players, they also had the honour of running out onto the field with team captain Tom Trbojevic to start the season. What a moment! ⭐

Thank you Sea Eagles for helping create memories that last forever.

What a fantastic day celebrating the relaunch of our newly upgraded St Marys Lifestyle Hub! After an incredible transformation, the hub is now a vibrant, modern space where people with disability can build skills, connect with others and enjoy new experiences every day.

Guests had the chance to see the hub in action, with a live gym program demo in our new fitness space, Nepalese dumplings made on site , and plenty of creativity on display.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting new chapter. We’re proud to continue creating inclusive spaces where people can thrive.

Celebrating an incredible milestone 👏

Peter has reached 48 years of continuous service with Sunnyfield. From his early days at Sharpro in 1977 which later became part of Sunnyfield - to today at Mt Druitt, Peter’s dedication, reliability and kindness have made a lasting impact.

Travelling from Springwood 4 days a week, he continues to contribute across the production line and support his team. Congratulations Peter. We are so proud to celebrate you.
