Remembrance Day ❤️🌹

Today, our school community came together to honour Remembrance Day with a special service. Our student leaders did a wonderful job leading the ceremony and reading “A Poem for Remembrance Day.”

Students from all classes contributed by making beautiful poppies, which were placed in the ground beneath the flagpole as a symbol of respect and remembrance. Together, we took time to reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served, and to appreciate the peace we have today.

Lest we forget. ❤️🌹

We’re excited to share that our school recently received a generous grant from Harvey Water to support our native garden project! 💧

🏆 Interschool Carnival Success! 🏆

What an incredible day at the Interschool Carnival! Allanson students gave it their absolute best in every single event, showing amazing effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We’re so proud to have come second in the Handicap Shield, such a great result! 🎉

A special congratulations to Bentley Gurr, who was awarded Runner-Up Champion Boy for Year 3 👏

There was so much cheering from the bay, strong teamwork in the team games, and fantastic results in the running events. Every student put in a huge effort over these past few weeks of carnivals, and everyone went home with a little goodie bag as a reward for their hard work! 🥰💚

To top off the day, Miss Graham and Mr Stocks jumped in for the Grand Relay with the kids, putting Allanson in 4th place! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What a fun way to finish such a great carnival!

🏆 2025 Faction Sports Carnival 🏆

The longest-running carnival ever! Spanning five days… is finally over! 😅 What a great effort from everyone involved!

Although the rain eventually caught up with us, everyone made the most of the day while the weather held off. 🌦️

A huge thank you to our amazing parents who helped pack up all the West gear afterwards, your support is always so appreciated! 💚 Also, a big shoutout to the coffee van for keeping everyone warm and caffeinated, and to our incredible P&C for the delicious food, drinks, and sausage sizzle. 🌭☕

The carnival was full of energy and enthusiasm, with many records broken and a fantastic parent turnout! Thank you for coming along and cheering on the kids! Despite the wet weather, our students showed awesome resilience and gave every event their best. 👏

And now for the results…
