The week that was at Adventist Senior Living saw our residents enjoying a wonderful time filled with friendship, connection, and engaging activities.
Residents attended Chapel Service with our new Chaplain, Christopher, held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 9:30am in the Chapel. Other favourite activities included Scrabble group, Bingo, nail pampering, Arts and Craft, Bocce, and a relaxing Friday afternoon wind-down with Trivia — always a favourite.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, the ladies enjoyed a lovely High Tea together, and residents also gathered for our much-loved monthly BBQ lunch.
A special thank you to Margie for her regular physiotherapy exercise sessions and to our wonderful entertainer David Reeves for their ongoing dedication and for making such a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
Another big thank you to Robert from the Lifestyle Team for cooking the sausages for our Residents' BBQ lunch — job well done!

☀️ The Week That Was at Adventist Senior Living.

Our residents enjoyed plenty of laughs, sweet treats and friendly competition.

From getting creative at Arts and Crafts, to our new addition Tuesday Ice Cream Cart (because you’re never too old for ice cream!), the fun just kept rolling. Oscar’s Trivia had everyone thinking caps on, Hoy brought out the competitive spirit, and there may or may not have been a few “victory celebrations” along the way!

Of course, the highlight was our much-loved entertainer David Reeves, who filled the room with music, laughter and those famous dad jokes we secretly love. 🎶😄

Thank you, David, for bringing the fun and making such a joyful difference in the lives of our residents. 👏

We’d love to give a big, warm welcome to Ingrid, our new Residential Wellbeing Coordinator! She’s arrived with a wealth of experience, endless enthusiasm, and enough positive energy to power the whole building. Fun fact! Ingrid used to work here as a PCW around 10 years ago. Welcome back!
We also want to introduce our fabulous Lifestyle team: Ingrid, Robert, and Aimee. They’ve already hit the ground running with a whole range of exciting new activities — cooking sessions, arts and crafts, sensory fun, movement games, and plenty more to keep everyone smiling.
And in case you’re wondering why Aimee isn’t in the photo… she was feeling a little camera shy today and happily volunteered to be the photographer instead! 😆
