Why is the midwife telling me to get acupuncture NOW?

Acupuncture is a wonderful resource to use during your ENTIRE pregnancy, but is often referred to in the final month to encourage a healthy, timely, and productive labour.
It encourages ripening of the cervix, blood circulation to tone the uterus, relaxation to encourage the natural cascade of birthing hormones, and processing of the fears and anxieties that may reside in this time.

It’s DEFINATELY worth the sessions. THAT’S why your midwife encourages it 😉
