📢 Clinical Labs Opening Hours Update
Westwood Medical Centre
We would like to inform our patients of an update to Clinical Labs opening hours, effective from Monday, 30th March 2026.

🕒 New Opening Hours:
• Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
• Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm

These updated hours will help better align services with patient demand and reduce confusion for patients attending from 8am.

✅ No appointment required
✅ Convenient on-site pathology collection

We are delighted to welcome Dr Madara Mudiyanselage to the Westwood Medical Centre team.

Dr Madara will be consulting with us three days a week, commencing Saturday 8 November 2025.

Dr Madara graduated in Sri Lanka in 2004 and has since worked in Moonta and Port Pirie before settling in Adelaide. She has extensive experience across a wide range of clinical areas and brings a compassionate, patient-focused approach to her work.

Her areas of interests include:

✅ Minor Surgical Procedures (including Implanon insertion/removal and wedge resection)

We're excited to announce that our resident nurse, Madhu Thailam, is now offering diabetes education Thursday fortnightly (starting 18 September 2025).

Madhu is passionate about diabetes education and brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients with 15 years of experience as a registered nurse in chronic disease management.

What you need to know:

✔ Patients with a current care plan and referral can access these services bulk billed.
✔ Privately insured patients are welcome – a fee of $80 applies (before health insurance rebates).
