We understand that life can be challenging, and sometimes you need support to navigate difficult times. At Empowered Holistic Counselling & Wellness, we provide a safe and confidential space where you can explore your feelings and thoughts, without judgment, and work towards positive change. We offer support through personalised holistic counselling sessions available in person, online, and through walk and talk therapy. She uses her down to earth nature to provide a safe and calm space to build strong and trustworthy relationships with her clients and support them throughout their healing journey. Additionally to counselling, Sam is working hard on building a community. That why we also hold weekly meditation & yoga classes, monthly workshops and corporate wellness events. You can find a range of self care products including our own line of natural skin and body range, Empowered Skincare. At Empowered, you'll experience a sincere and welcoming atmosphere as we adopt a holistic approach to your health. Our focus is on providing support and education to empower you in cultivating a healthy and happy mind, body, and soul. Today marks 5 years in business, a milestone I’m incredibly proud of and one that feels both wild and wonderful.

I’m so grateful for the trust, the support, and the beautiful community that has formed around this little space of mine. Thank you for being here through every season, every shift, and every step.

Be Lighter is your invitation to pause, exhale, and gently let go of what no longer serves you, so you can move into the holiday season feeling calm, clear, and re-energised.

In our last workshop of the year, Be Lighter weaves together reflection, relaxation, and mindful movement to help you shed the heaviness of the year and reconnect with your inner light. Through journalling, guided meditation, and uplifting practices, you’ll rediscover your spark and create space for what’s next.

A big thank you to everyone who joined me for last night’s Be Empowered workshop. I’m so grateful for the honesty, the connection, and the conversations we shared around boundaries and protecting your peace.

It couldn’t have been more timely as we move into a season that can feel emotionally and energetically demanding for so many of us.

My final workshop for the year is coming up on Sunday 30th November – Be Lighter.

Be Lighter is your invitation to pause, exhale, and gently release the things that no longer serve you, so you can step into the end of the season feeling calm, clear, and re-energised.

Change can feel uncomfortable, even when it’s leading us somewhere better.

It challenges our sense of safety, our routines, and sometimes even our identity. But it’s also where growth lives.

Maybe you’re in a season of transition: work, relationships, health, or simply the way you view yourself.

Remember:
✨ It’s okay to feel uncertain.
✨ It’s okay to grieve what once was.
✨ And it’s okay to take small steps instead of giant leaps.

Growth rarely feels graceful in the moment.

It’s messy and emotional. But it’s also where we uncover our strength, our resilience, and our ability to adapt.

Take a deep breath, soften your shoulders, and trust that every shift, no matter how small, is shaping you into the person you’re meant to be.

🌿 Breathe Out 2025 🌿

If your mind’s been busy, your body’s running on autopilot, and you’re craving a little peace before the year wraps up, this one’s for you.

Our final Meditation Block for 2025 begins tomorrow, Monday 3rd November, and runs through to Wednesday 10th December ✨

A 6 week series designed for the everyday person managing stress, juggling life, and wanting to slow down before the Christmas chaos begins.

🧘‍♀️ Class Times:
• Mondays at 8:15pm
• Wednesdays at 7:00pm

Come to one or both each week, whatever fits your schedule.

💰 Investment: $80 for the full 6 weeks (up to 12 sessions total)
📍 Location: Empowered Holistic Counselling & Wellness, Appin

These sessions are for both men and women, combining grounding, breath awareness, and guided meditation to help calm a busy brain, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.

It’s wild to think there are only 8 weeks left in 2025.

8 weeks of opportunity.
8 weeks to realign, refocus, and remind yourself that you still have time to make this year feel complete.

Instead of waiting for January to “start fresh,” what if you used these next 8 weeks to finish calm, grounded, and proud of the fact you chose you?

Because in 8 weeks, you can absolutely:
💫 Learn to regulate your nervous system through breathwork, mindfulness, or meditation.
💫 Reduce stress and burnout by setting boundaries and saying “no” when you need to.
💫 Improve your sleep and energy by prioritising rest and evening wind down rituals.

✨ Breakfast Boats ✨

Ingredients - Serves 1
(Multiply ingredients for batch cooking)

2 x Stand & Stuff Taco Boats
3 eggs (or 1 egg + 2–3 egg whites to boost protein & lower fat)
Splash of almond milk
Fresh thyme
1/8 red capsicum, diced
1 button mushroom, diced
1/4 cup baby spinach, diced
Sprinkle of light mozzarella cheese
Salt & pepper

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan forced.
2. Place taco boats on a baking tray.
3. Add diced vegetables evenly between boats.
4. Whisk together eggs, almond milk, thyme, salt & pepper. Pour evenly into boats.
5. Top with mozzarella cheese.
6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden and set.

The perfect balanced meal for energy, focus, and fullness. Your Breakfast Boats will keep well in the fridge for up to 3–4 days when stored in an airtight container.
