Our hearts are a little heavier this Father's Day- as we remember our dads who are no longer with us. Their voices may be silent, but their love, wisdom, and the memories they left behind continue to shape our lives every day. For me personally knowing my Dad now has my Mum by his side brings me so much comfort- her very first words to him when they met was in song- my Mum sang to him 'You Made Me Love You' and that became their mantra for almost 60years ❤️

This is so beautiful! 🥰

I sent a letter to heaven,
to my Grandma in the sky.
I told her how I missed her
since she'd got her wings to fly.
I tried to phone her up first
but I knew she wasn't there.
So I posted her this letter,
so she knows that I still care.
I hope that when she reads it,
she will send one back to me,
or visit me in a dream
and be like we used to be.
I didn't write her name on it.
I just addressed it to above
and then I kissed the envelope
before sealing it with love. ❤️

This is so beautiful: 💖

When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us. It means that if we meet again, you will know me. It means that even after I die, you can still see my face and hear my voice and speak to me in your heart.
For as long as you remember me, I am never entirely lost.

Thank you for your part in Stewart’s service. We all thought you put it together very well. I can’t tell you how many people commented on the service, saying it was one of the best, and in several cases, the best, funeral they had ever attended. I think Stewart would have been pleased.

I feel very grateful to meet the most wonderful families- recently I was fortunate enough to be part of a beautiful goodbye for a woman who would have turned 100 on the day of her Service - it was a Celebration of her incredible long life and her amazing accomplishments - and the family brought in a large birthday cake in celebration of her day- 🌺❤️

There is nothing quite like Grandma's house - and the memories we cherish of her forever ❤️
