It’s been a very busy week since we reopened on Monday! A large volume of returned orders have now been processed and most of you will have received SMS notifications from us. We’ve returned to a bustling appointment book but we still have plenty of spots left in the next two weeks for anyone who wants to pop in before the new school year commences.

We will be closed from 5pm, Friday 20th December 2024 - we reopen with our standard business hours from 7.30am, Monday 20th January 2025.

For any last minute contact lens orders, we carry a large range of spherical prescriptions in store, please stop by to pick yours up or give us a call and we can post them to you. If you have a spectacle order that's ready to collect, please do so before this Friday evening.

Last week, we said goodbye to our dispenser, Tash. She and her family have left to start a new adventure in Canada. Although the journey was long, everything went well, and she told us the kids love the snow 😍. She will be greatly missed ❤️.

Once you turn 65, you’re entitled to a bulk-billed eye exam every year. Although your glasses may not need updating yearly, it’s still important to have an annual eye exam.

👀 Catch eye conditions early:
Detect issues like cataracts, glaucoma or macular degeneration.

👀Monitor Overall Eye Health:
Including the eye muscles, cornea and eye pressure.

👀Other Health Issues:
Eye examinations can uncover signs of other health conditions including diabetes and high cholesterol.

🎄HOLIDAY CLOSURE NOTICE 🎄

The Christmas holidays are coming up fast, and we will be closed from 5pm, Friday 20th December. If you need an eye test, new glasses or contact lenses we're here to help - but please plan ahead! We will have appointments available until we close but to ensure your new eyewear arrives in time for the end of year, we recommend visiting us within the next four weeks. Otherwise your order will be available for collection when we reopen in the new year on Monday, 20th January.
