When you eat , you’re getting three superfoods for breast cancer. First is chickpea—a legume. In a recent study, women getting about 30 grams of legumes daily had 46% less risk for breast cancer. Next is extra virgin olive oil. Just 1.5 tablespoons of daily was linked with 73% less breast cancer risk in another study. Finally is tahini, which is pureed sesame seeds. That contains the same nutrients as sesame seed oil which has been linked with 42% less breast cancer risk when used regularly in cooking. Daily use of hummus could provide all of these healthy foods at the same time. One must wonder what the combined risk reduction might be.
