If you have not already purchased packaging from her party/ catering store at Shop 3 in the Harvest Hall at the Prahran Market, head on in today after 11am and meet Jacqueline. She is offering 30% off all purchases over the next week whilst stock lasts as sadly she is in the throes of packing up and closing down, not by choice. 🥲

After 39 years of trading at the market, the new CEO of the centre management has decided her store is not part of the new shiny vision for the market.

Lean in and listen to your body, I was craving a fresh, raw salad with pecans for lunch today. I settled on an apple, cabbage & spinach salad with pecans. The dressing was a mix of olive oil, white wine vinegar, garlic, raw honey and Dijon mustard, yum. I added approx 120g of thinly sliced lean pork fillet.

Tip: To save time and washing dishes, I built the salad in a serving bowl - single serve. Aren’t the colours gorgeous! Now to devour sitting in this gorgeous Autumn sunshine. 🍂💚💜🤍

Unexpected surprises are the best! When you go into your local shopping centre to purchase a bag of kitty litter and end up with a 25% discount from and a Two Good Cookbook, “Change the Course” gratitude! 🧡🤍

Thank you to Centre Management, and all the fabulous chefs who collaborated on the book to empower and support vulnerable women. It will make an amazing, heartfelt Mother’s Day gift. 🌸

I just picked some rosemary from the bush under my kitchen window in remembrance. Honouring the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of our ANZACS today and always. Lest we forget. 🇦🇺 🌹
18 years ago today my father passed. I miss his wisdom and hearing his voice on the line. He loved his garden, thinking of you today too dad. ♥️

It is an annual tradition in the Queen of Foodiness kitchen to prepare some Easter treats to gift, all made with wholesome ingredients and with 🩷.

This year I have kept it simple and made “Grown up Rocky Road”, hero ingredient is quality Turkish delight, 70% cacao and pistachios. Garnish is chopped pistachios and edible, dried rose petals.

This morning I responded to the emails piling up in my Inbox and checked out the recently opened The Market Pavilion @ Chadstone fashion capital, a foodie mecca. So busy absorbing it all and soaking up the fabulous vibe, I didn’t stop to take pics - go check it out for yourself. 😉

With Easter just round the corner, for all the chocolate lovers, check out Koko Blacks new signature store. 🐣🍫

Tip: The place was packed by 11am, get there early and grab a seat at one of the new cafes. Sit back and absorb it all as you plan your morning. ☕️

I have had some quality time over the Summer break to reflect on the past 12 months and review where I see the Queen of Foodiness heading in 2025.

I started this lil passion project in 2016, again at a pivotal point of where to from here with coaching & mentoring women in business, incorporating strategies with nutrition and self care. Fast forward 8 years, I leaned in and realised that I was missing the interaction of working 1 to 1 with women to support them in becoming crytal clear on their goals and setting milestones to bring their dreams and aspirations to life. Bottom line, to live a life you love.
So fast forward to 2025, the focus for Queen of Foodiness is “Reenergise: 1 to 1 Nutrition, Strategy and Goal Setting Workshop with Jo”, a 3 hour bespoke cooking workshop, tailored to your unique goals for the year ahead. This may be purely menu planning, mapping out simple and nutritious meals in a busy week and cooking with me, or a combination of a clarity session with setting vision & goals, timelines and you get to cook lunch with me.
My mission; let’s design a business and lifestyle that truly supports the life you want to live. 🩷
