People often mistake when we talk about recovery. They think it's about which supplements they take, weekly massages, foam rolling, ice baths etc. But they often neglect the basics which are supported and proven by science again and again. It's not fancy, it's not complicated.
1- Sleep- A minimum of 7-8 hrs of quality sleep
2- Nutrition- Nutrient dense, unprocessed foods (fruits, veges, meat, fish, eggs etc)
3- Hydrations- Drinking adequate amount of water, electrolytes
4- Load management- Physical and psychological load/ stress management
You can ignore these basics and do everything else perfect but you will NOT achieve the results you need. Whether it's about recovering from an injury, training for a sport/competition or simply to manage day today activities, make sure to address the main drivers of recovery first.
