Keeping their loved ones in their own community’s and close to home while also working towards personal goals of the participants and their family’s such as independent living, activities of daily living and social interactions

Local Supoort and Social care are now offering respite or STA: Short Term Accommodation care.

If you or anyone you know need support with respite or STA accommodation and care please feel free to contact the page or give us a call.

We are operating 7 days a week and would love to support you in anyway we can.

About 15% of the world's population live with a disability. This includes about 93 million children and 720 million adults with significant difficulties in functioning.

Currently in Rural Australia there is little to no support for people living with a disability.

This is where Local Support and Social Care can step in an assist you with access to employment, assist with personal activities, travel and transport, daily tasks/shared living, community participation and engagement, assisting with finding and maintaining housing and assist with independent living and so much more!

One of our participants Aaron has a passion for radio. One of his main goals was to spend a day ON AIR at his local radio station.

This goal was made possible by Local Support and Social Care.
Through coaching, confidence and self-esteem building we were successful in achieving his goal.

Aaron describes this experience as one of the best moments of his adult life. He plans to start a podcast about football and his passions.

Local Support and Social Care take pride in seeing participants achieve their goals.
