About our logo~ You may notice the 7 Chakras through the body of our gecko, the 4 elements on the geckos tail & a little echidna (iwata) for Anaiwan country. Our beautiful Gecko represents rebirth, regeneration & renewal. The lotus (padma) & life cycle of lotus depicts the path of a yogi towards the light, bringing a cultivated awareness of ourselves & what surrounds us, balancing our body, mind & spirit. The 1000 petal lotus flower represents to the 7th Chakra, Sahasara, our spiritual connection to the divine. We acknowledge the Anaiwan people, traditional custodians of the land on which we gather & pay respects to their Elders past & present. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples.

🕉️Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana is not just a side bend, it’s a spinal extension with rotation. Avoid collapsing into the chest or tensing the neck. Instead, lengthen both sides of the torso, ground the glute of the bent leg, & rotate the ribcage upward to open the heart space. Stability in the pelvis creates freedom in the spine. Chair Pose (Utkatasana) is a powerful yoga posture that strengthens the legs, glutes & core while improving balance & posture. Keep your back straight, chest lifted & core engaged while raising the arms overhead. Avoid pushing the knees too far forward or arching the lower back. Sports Breathing vs. Yoga Breathing: Do you know the difference?
In sports, we’re often taught to inhale through the nose & exhale through the mouth to handle immediate exertion.
🕉️Yoga takes a different path. In Pranayama, breathing is done exclusively through the nose; not just to manage effort, but to transform the respiratory system itself.
☮️Nasal breathing refines lung capacity, stabilises the nervous system & connects you to the flow of prana, the body’s vital energy. The goal is not to survive exertion. The goal is to build a system that doesn’t tire easily. Over time, breath becomes not a reaction to stress, but a source of endurance.
