I’ve been a bit AWOL in the business social media space lately. I’ve had a sort of social media detox! But here is the interesting human behaviour response! Because I haven’t been spamming fake book I’m getting feedback in relation to people thinking I’m not bodyworking horses anymore! And how wrong are they! I just haven’t felt the need to promote myself solely in the FB space!

So I thought I would share a few things I have been doing lately!

🐴 Supporting a young lady and her show hunter to win multiple championship wins in the recent show run. In addition to supporting her horse I have also been able to work with the rider to tweak a few rider biomechanics issues! Good luck at Sydney Royal!
🐴 I had an emergency appointment to work on a sweet young stock horse gelding who had a little mishap after Canberra Royal to go on and win the very prestigious March Carney 3 yr old futurity at the Stock Horse National Show a week later! Congratulations!
🐴 Provide ongoing support to a super dressage horse to win and place in numerous competitions this year and step up a level. This involved bodywork, stretches, and strengthening exercises as well as tweaking some biomechanics of the rider.
🐴 Being able to place my hands on a very timid and shy, newly domesticated brumby, who was showing some signs of soreness after her capture. WOW that was interesting as her feedback was so clear, such an honour to work with her!
🐴 bodyworked a tight little power rocket racehorse and suggested a few tack changes who then went out and and won two races
🐴 did an emergency treatment on an aged horse suffering from colic, happy to say he is running around the paddock happy as Larry!

And now I’m currently in Victoria working on some elite FEI eventers and next week heading over to Adelaide 3Day Event, with Tulara Baltango who has been selected on the Oceanic Team to represent Australia with his rider Soph! Such fun times to come!

So I’m super busy, having an amazing time and super happy to support all these horses and so so many others!

Don’t worry guys I’m still working on horses! And more horses, and more horses! I’ll never stop!

Today I had an absolutely beautiful mother daughter session.

A beautiful young person contacted me by email and asked if we could do a session for her mother’s birthday. At the time I was unaware of how young this beautiful soul was. She was so thoughtful and her communication through email was outstanding. They arrived this morning and I smiled when they got out of the car. This young person was something special!

Her mother and she had a beautiful session connecting with themselves, each other Stella and their environment and nature.

I haven’t facilitated one of these session in a while but WOW! I get so much out of them, and I can see how much participants get out of them too! Always so grateful to my equine partners, and in this case Stella for holding space!

Some days are simply magical!! An early start to place my hands on an amazing soul! Strong, independent, cautious and an elder! A wise elder who is an activist in climate change! He’s been on protest rides through Sydney with his passionate human, and he is somewhat famous! His name is Hombre.
Then to a beautiful girl who has not been feeling her best lately. But today she was alive, sassy and sweet! Bodywork, herbs and detox have obviously worked! And the best gift today was watching her human smile, and their incredible connection that has resulted in some super cool judges comments!

Then on to deliver a sweet and exciting little package named D. Watching this little guy bond with his new best friend was really lovely! Im officially a dog human match maker!

Even though today was such an insane weather day and super cold - sooooo much snow- it was super magical and I’m so lucky to do what I do!

I’m so incredibly honoured to place my hands on this beautiful boy! Humble Glory has travelled the world as a seasoned plane passenger and has competed on the most prestigious eventing tracks, including Burghley, Badminton and Adelaide here in Australia! I was fortunate to groom and care for Hughie beside my daughter Bianca Christian at the Adelaide 5* event, and now bodywork him. One of my most favourite thing about working on Hughie was how he communicated so clearly on his needs, pressure and touch preferences and how he trusted me and settled in to the treatment like a seasoned sportstar that he is!
Very honoured to say the least!

An honour and a privilege!

Working at the Adelaide Equestrian Festival caring for Australias best elite 4* and 5* equine eventing athletes was an absolute honour and privilege! These incredible horses were treated just like elite human athletes are. Heart rates taken, temps take , bodywork, ice sessions, vets monitoring during all phases, iv fluids, walks every hour, quality foods and supplements and tonnes of cuddles!

It was such a great experience to be working and involved in and it was so great to learn from national and international equine specialists.

I’m so excited to be back next year!

Back placing my hands on horses early this morning, after an informative few days away doing professional development. Knowledge, information, questions, and more questions and some answers. Life is about learning in all sorts of ways and from all sorts of sources!

I am so excited to be doing more professional development with this incredible person. Seeing things visually and getting hands on is such a good way for me to learn, and I definitely learn so much from Becks Nairn s work!
