This week, the iDecide team had the privilege of attending the Links for Life Disability Expo.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with providers, families, and community members, and to hear first-hand how overwhelming life admin can feel when critical documents, decisions, and tasks are scattered across multiple places.

What stood out was how strongly people responded to the way iDecide transforms complexity into clarity.

It’s not just about storing documents or sending reminders, it’s about the outcomes:

Peace of mind: No more searching through files, inboxes, or drawers when something urgent arises.

Control and confidence: Everything from health information to financial records is secure, centralised, and easy to share when needed.

Time saved: Hours once lost to chasing paperwork are freed up for what really matters, supporting loved ones and living life.

Reduced stress: Families and providers alike know they won’t miss deadlines, payments, or critical steps in planning and care.

The conversations we had reinforced that people aren’t looking for more features, they’re looking for solutions that make life easier, less stressful, and more secure.

That’s the role iDecide is proud to play: helping individuals and families turn life admin into something manageable, supportive, and empowering.

Millennials have mastered air-frying literally everything, girl-bossing like a pro, and ordering oat lattes without blinking an eye. But real adulting? That’s making sure your loved ones aren’t left with years of admin if the unexpected happens.

That’s why we made iDecide. It’s all online, secure, and simple which means you can organise your future without ever having to do the one thing millennials fear most: answering the phone.

Sorting your wishes now doesn’t make you old, it makes you thoughtful. And trust us, Future You will be be glad you handled it now so they can get back to watching friends re-runs.

Today is R U OK? Day a reminder to check in with the people around us and start conversations that matter.

At iDecide, we know that planning for life’s hardest moments isn’t just about paperwork. It can bring up emotions, difficult conversations, and sometimes heavy feelings. That’s why, through our strategic partnership with Anytime Counselling, we provide access to resources and support whenever you need it.

Because planning well isn’t only practical, it’s also emotional. Having support along the way means you don’t have to carry it alone.

This R U OK? Day, ask the question, listen with care, and remember: there are always resources and people ready to support you.

iDecide + Anytime Counselling = planning with compassion, clarity, and care.

If you’re moving from “I’ll get to it” to “let’s get this sorted,” you’re not alone. Holly Wainwright's latest article for Mamamia nails it: having key details and wishes organised is one of the most caring things you can do for your family.

A shared document can help, but it isn’t designed for privacy, timing, or secure sharing.

iDecide is a secure, guided platform for your essential documents, health preferences, key contacts, accounts, and final wishes and for sharing access only with the right people, at the right time.

Ready to organise what matters, without the overwhelm? Start today at idecide.co

“I spent weeks on the phone trying to sort out Mum’s electricity bills when I should have been grieving. Every company wanted another form, another document, another signature. By the time one task was done, three more appeared. What should have been time to heal turned into more than two years of admin.”

Cathy’s story is not unique. When paperwork and plans aren’t organised, the people left behind face years of unnecessary stress at the very moment they need space to heal.

That’s why we created iDecide.

With iDecide, everything is planned, stored, and shared in one simple place. So instead of chasing paperwork, your loved ones have:
Clear instructions
Less stress
More time to grieve and remember

Father’s Day holds many meanings. For some, it’s a time of celebration and gratitude. For others, it can bring up loss, longing, or complicated emotions. Today, we hold space for every experience, honoring the fathers we cherish, remembering those we miss, and acknowledging the many ways this day can touch our hearts.

🎶 There’s always a song. At the hardest moments in life, when words fall short, music speaks for us.

From Amazing Grace to Frank Sinatra’s My Way, from Somewhere Over the Rainbow to Wind Beneath My Wings – certain songs have become part of the soundtrack of farewell. They capture our love, our grief, our gratitude, and our hope for peace.

Whether it’s Hallelujah, Tears in Heaven or Fields of Gold, each choice holds meaning and memory.

Noticing the glimmers in everyday life

In her piece “Glimmer” on A Year of Healing, captures something quietly powerful, the tiny moments that ground us, soften us, and remind us we’re still here. These flickers of light aren’t grand. They’re gentle, and they matter.

Reading Lucy’s words was our glimmer this week and it made us reflect on some of the other glimmers we’ve held onto this year:

A cup of tea alone before anyone else wakes up
A kind message at just the right time
A deep breath after a hard conversation
Sunlight on the floor, music in the car, a moment of stillness

We wanted to share, in case you needed a reminder too, healing doesn’t always look like transformation. Sometimes it’s just noticing what makes you feel OK, even for a second.

With full credit and gratitude to Lucy Ormonde read her beautiful original piece here: https://ayearofhealing.substack.com/p/glimmer

As we acknowledge Women’s Health Week, it’s crucial to talk about one of the most overlooked health challenges facing Australian women today: the silent toll of unpaid caregiving.

Many women, particularly those in the Sandwich Generation, are caught between caring for ageing parents and raising children all while managing careers, households, and the constant mental load.

The cost?
Rising burnout and chronic stress
Interrupted careers and lost income
Limited time for personal health or self-care
Little access to formal support

These women are the backbone of our care economy yet their own needs often go unmet.

At iDecide, we believe that supporting women’s health means recognising the systems that stretch them too thin. This week, and every week, let’s advocate for:

Greater visibility for unpaid carers
Flexible workplace policies
Accessible support services
Time and space for women to prioritise their own wellbeing

Because caring for everyone else shouldn’t come at the cost of your own health.
