It is with a sad but very excited heart we say good bye to Jo today. It is her last day of 10 years with WFC. She will be adventuring forth on an exciting new adventure wayyyy up north. To all our lovely practice members, you will be seeing a new face around the front desk next week, and to make it even easier on everyone, her name is also Jo! 😁🤣😁 Have a wonderful Easter as we will be closed Friday 3rd April and reopen Tuesday the 7th. ❤️

Happy Chiropractic founders day yesterday! DD Palmer performed the first adjustment and Chiropractic was born. What’s super cool is that he’s way back on Tarryn Walker ‘s family tree, as he was born in Ajax Ontario. It’s in that Canadian blood of hers 🍁

🎉🎂 Happy Chiropractic Founders Day! On this day in 1895, D.D. Palmer, the visionary founder of chiropractic, performed the first chiropractic adjustment, giving birth to a profession.

Since then, chiropractic has grown to positively impact the health and wellbeing of millions around the world. To this day, practitioners continue to play a vital role in combating neuro-musculoskeletal disorders from Chicago to Cooma. Long may that continue. 🙌

Where is Jo?
As part of her Master of Counselling degree at the University of Canberra, Jo is taking a three-month break from the Walker Family Chiropractic reception desk to complete the placement component of the course … in Katherine, Northern Territory! Jo starts the adventure with a ‘short drive’ from home to Katherine via (weather permitting) central western Queensland. Then, in between the hard work and ongoing study, there will be plenty of time to check a lot of the famous Northern Territory landscape. If you would like to follow her journey from the comfort of your lounge chair, she will be posting regularly on her socials and on Substack while away.
