Did you know we provide liver elastography scans, also known as FibroScans? These can be performed at the same time as your normal abdomen ultrasound. A FibroScan is a non-invasive ultrasound that measures the stiffness of the liver to assess the degree of liver scarring (fibrosis) and the amount of fatty infiltration (steatosis). It helps doctors diagnose and monitor chronic liver conditions like fatty liver disease and viral hepatitis, guiding treatment decisions.

We provide many specialised ultrasounds at our clinic, making healthcare affordable, accessible and easy.

We hope everyone will have a wonderful holiday period in December, the clinic will have limited operating hours, closing at 12pm on the 24th of Dec (Christmas Eve) and reopening with normal operating hours from the 6th of January.

We will have limited hours available on the 2nd and 3rd of January from 7am - 1pm.

How fantastic for a local health service !!!

🎉 Inverell Hospital & Operation: Operating Room – A Winning Collaboration! 🏥🤝

Thanks to the ongoing partnership between Inverell Hospital and Operation: Operating Room (OOR), along with incredible community support, the hospital has received vital equipment this past year, including two ultrasound machines and a Trophon Disinfection Unit.

In a first for OOR, they worked with key community partners to raise $84,000 for a Sonosite Portable Ultrasound System, with major contributions from BEST Community Shed, Inverell High School, Rotary, Macintyre Lions, and Bindaree Beef. This portable system allows faster more accurate care across the hospital. 🙌
