Friday is here again, that means it's shopping day at food pantry. Open at 10am 🕙 until 12.30pm 🕧 We're at the Christian Outreach Centre in Claude Street. Fruit, veggies & bread are still complimentary with the purchase of a green Woolies bag filled with groceries of your choice 🛍️, please remember to bring bags with you, bring cash too, as well, we don't have EFTPOS. Remember, tell any friends who are doing it tough, no need of any Centrelink or other cards, we're open to all. Hope to see you tomorrow ☺️

Do you know how food pantry works? Let's start on Fridays, we open 10am until 12.30pm. Did you know we buy the groceries that are on the shelves, so each bag you buy enables us to look at the foodbank web site and order groceries for the following week. We do get some donations for which we are very grateful, but the majority has to be paid for. During the week a few awesome volunteers are there, sorting donations of clothing, kitchen ware etc. We also clean, tidy and sort the grocery shelves. When our order is delivered, we unpack, sort and restock the shelves ready for you to come and shop on Fridays. . We really do have the best volunteers!!

Who likes it hot 🔥 No worries, food pantry has lovely cool air conditioning ☺️ so come tomorrow between 10am 🕙 and 12.30pm 🕧, buy a Woolies green bag 🛍️ of groceries and your fruit, veggies and bread are complimentary. No need of a centrelink or any other card, we are open to everyone, we know lots are struggling. Fruit 🍎, veggies 🧅🥔 and bread 🍞 are still complimentary with your purchase of a Woolies green bag 🛍️ full of groceries of your choice. Don't forget to bring cash 💵, we don't have EFTPOS. Our volunteers have been busy restocking the shelves and our donation room is looking good too. If you have a veggie garden and have a surplus, we would love your donation. Good morning everyone, food pantry day tomorrow, the last for the year. Our wonderful volunteers wish you all a very merry Christmas 🎄 and a happy and healthy 2026.
We're open as usual at 10am 🕙 until 12.30pm 🕧 at the Christian Outreach Centre in Claude Street. Please remember your green Woolies bags 🛍️ and cash 💵, we don't have EFTPOS. There are still a few hampers to be picked up, if you've ordered one, last chance to get it before we close for the year. See you tomorrow 🎄
