Hello everyone, a reminder for you that food pantry will be closed for Easter next Friday 3rd April. We will be open again on 10th April.

Your food pantry is open tomorrow, from 10am 🕙 until 12.30pm 🕧, we're at the Christian Outreach Centre in Claude Street. No need of a centrelink or any other card, we are open to everyone, we know lots are struggling. Fruit 🍎 🍌, veggies 🥔 🥬🧅and bread 🍞 are still complimentary with your purchase of a Woolies green bag 🛍️ full of groceries of your choice. Don't forget to bring cash 💵, we don't have EFTPOS. We still have some summer clothes in the donations, lots of winter too, plenty for everyone! Hope to see you tomorrow ☺️

Good morning 🌞, food pantry day tomorrow, 10am 🕙 until 12.30pm 🕧 at the Christian Outreach Centre in Claude Street. Please don't forget your green Woolies bags 🛍️ and cash, we don't have EFTPOS. No Centrelink or any other cards required, so tell your friends, bring them along, still only $20 for a bag of groceries of your choice.
We are blessed with a visit from the Tent of Promise, well worth taking a look. Hope to see you tomorrow ☺️

Ok, it's getting cooler, Autumn, my favourite time of year... We've been busy at food pantry, started putting out warmer clothes, winter warmers! When you've looked through them, it's time to shop, 10am 🕙 until 12.30pm 🕧 Don't forget to bring your Woolies green bag 🛍️ and cash. We're at the Christian Outreach Centre in Claude Street, plenty of parking, bring a friend or two, times are tough and we're here to help. Hope to see you tomorrow ☺️

Do you know how food pantry works? Let's start on Fridays, we open 10am until 12.30pm. Did you know we buy the groceries that are on the shelves, so each bag you buy enables us to look at the foodbank web site and order groceries for the following week. We do get some donations for which we are very grateful, but the majority has to be paid for. During the week a few awesome volunteers are there, sorting donations of clothing, kitchen ware etc. We also clean, tidy and sort the grocery shelves. When our order is delivered, we unpack, sort and restock the shelves ready for you to come and shop on Fridays. . We really do have the best volunteers!!
