At MPS, we proudly celebrate NAIDOC Week across Wadawurrung and Gulidjan Country — the lands we work and walk on every day across Geelong, the Surf Coast, Bellarine, and Colac-Otway.

We stand in solidarity with First Nations communities and remain deeply committed to truth-telling, cultural safety, and meaningful reconciliation.

Harry and Mila dropped off our final food drive donations to the amazing team at Feed Me Torquay, marking the end of our June drive! 💙 Thanks to the generosity of our team and the broader MPS family, we were able to contribute a range of perishable items to support their mission.

Feed Me is a powerful local organisation fighting food waste and nourishing our community by providing for those who need it most. We’re proud to play a small part in the big work they do.

We’re proud to announce our new partnership with — working together to reduce food waste and support those in need across our community!

We’ve now set up a donation bin at Marco Polo HQ where you can drop off non-perishable food items anytime. Every little bit counts and goes straight to helping local families.

Meet Balin.

Balin is a former participant of Marco Polo Supports, and someone we came to know, care for, and share countless special moments with. Our days together were filled with beach walks, Chinese food (his favourite), music, and plenty of laughter.

Now 18 years old, Balin lives with a rare and complex set of diagnoses — so rare, in fact, that he is the only known child in the world with his unique combination of challenges. Although he is chronologically an adult, his cognitive and emotional world reflects that of a 5-year-old.

Balin experiences a severe form of Tourette Syndrome, which causes frequent, catastrophic episodes of self-injury. These episodes can occur hourly, leading to devastating injuries to himself and, at times, those around him. He often requires urgent medical attention, surgeries, and hospitalisation — sometimes daily.

Despite the immense challenges he faces, Balin’s spirit continues to shine through. And in his own words, he’s made a simple, powerful request:

"Can you help me to see the brain doctors, so I can get better. I can't wait. It's too hard."

We share this to spread awareness in the hope that someone might know someone who can help Balin "see the brain doctors" so he can get better.
