OK, so what does experiencing a ‘shift’ mean and how can we integrate it?
When you experience a significant rise in the frequency of your energy field – that’s a shift. Often after receiving an intensive healing or going or a retreat. Most often it’s a delicious experience, bringing in feelings of calm, groundedness, clarity, insights and profound peace.
However, sometimes the effects can be a little bumpy. If you’ve just started your journey or have elected to clear a lot of heavy ancestral energy, sometimes the results can be a little more challenging.
Any healing is a detox, both physically and energetically. The deeper the detox the more toxins released in your body and energy field. This can cause headaches, grogginess, tiredness and/or disorientation.
If you’ve released a past life where for example, you may have experienced a lot of anger, then you might immediately feel frustrated or annoyed. If you’ve released one of grief or tragedy, then you may feel a sense of loss or sadness.
These are simply echoes, passing through your energy field. It’s easy to mistake those feelings for your own. Detach from them. Remind yourself they’re not yours. They’re in the past and no longer exist. Remind yourself that you have no reason to feel like that and just let them move through. If you attach to them, it delays their clearing.
After any healing, particularly a big shift, take time alone. Your energy field is going to be like wet cement, so you don’t want others’ footprints all over it. Sit watching the ocean, ask Spirit a question and allow your mind to wander/day dream. The stillness and silence will help you integrate the higher frequency energy more quickly.
Sleep will also help, as will drinking lots of water to flush out toxins; have a swim in the ocean or magnesium salt bath to help clear your energy field; journaling will help you process; avoid alcohol, coffee and fatty foods – anything that’s going to lower your vibration.
And don’t worry, it very rarely lasts for more than that day. Just smile and let it go…
