💚❤️Our Food Drive for St Vinnies Soup Vans is coming to an end, and they’ll be collecting the donations on the 18th. ❤️💚

This time of year can be incredibly hard for so many. St Vinnies Soup Vans deliver more than 700,000 meals each year to people experiencing homelessness, loneliness, and hardship across Victoria. Their volunteers show up every single day, offering not just food, but comfort, dignity, and human connection. 💙

If you’ve been thinking about donating, now is the moment.
A single can, a packet of pasta, a small gesture, it all adds up to a warm meal and a reminder to someone that they’re not forgotten.

✨ Please drop off any non-perishable items before the 18th and place them under our Christmas tree. Mr Bones/Yorick is keeping loving watch over every donation. 💀🎄

We’re running a Food Drive for St Vinnies Soup Vans, and we’d love your support. ❤️🥫

St Vinnies Soup Vans provide more than 700,000 meals every year to people experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and hardship across Victoria.

Their incredible volunteers—known as the Vannies—prepare, pack, and deliver meals 365 days a year, offering not just food, but compassion, connection, and pathways to support.

This year, we’re inviting our wonderful patients and community to donate non-perishable food items.

All donations can be placed under our Christmas tree, where our mascot Mr Bones/Yorick will be proudly guarding them! 💀🎄

Let’s come together and spread kindness where it’s needed most. Thank you for helping us support the amazing work of St Vinnies Soup Vans. 💙

130 years of Chiropractic today 🎈 🥳 🎉

How Chiropractic Was Created 🌀

Chiropractic care was founded in 1895 by D.D. Palmer in Davenport, Iowa. A self-taught healer, Palmer believed that many health issues came from spinal misalignments interfering with the nervous system.

The origin story? Palmer performed a spinal adjustment on a janitor named Harvey Lillard, who had been deaf for 17 years. After the adjustment, Lillard claimed his hearing improved. Chiropractic was born.

Palmer called these spinal issues “subluxations” and focused on spinal adjustments to support overall health.

In 1897, he opened the Palmer School of Chiropractic, and his son B.J. Palmer expanded it into a global profession.

Today, chiropractic is widely recognized for helping manage musculoskeletal conditions — especially back pain, neck pain, joint issues, and tension headaches, through manual therapy, spinal manipulation, and exercise-based care.

From one adjustment to a worldwide profession, chiropractic has come a long way. 🙌
