Revive Ashgrove is one of the largest and best equipped Physiotherapy and Pilates studios in Brisbane. Women's Health Physiotherapy at Revive focuses on the management of pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence and pre and post natal care. Conditions treated include:
- Urinary incontinence: including both stress incontinence and over active bladder (previously known as 'urge' incontinence)
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Pelvic floor and abdominal muscle weakness
- Re**us Diastasis (abdominal muscle separation that can occur due to pregnancy)
- Pre and post natal care - including education, exercise classes and treatment of pelvic floor and other related musculo-skeletal conditions.

EXERCISE BENEFITS DURING PREGNANCY! 💛

We all know it’s great to stay active during pregnancy but, what does that look like for you?

🚶🏼‍♀️ A stroll with friends
🏊🏽‍♀️ A refreshing swim
💃🏻 Moving your b***y to some tunes

Two awesome styles of training when you’re pregnant are…

1) Functional training to build those baby rearing arms and legs. These movements are relative to the demands that will be placed on your body when baby comes and help to condition your joints to the stresses of being a new parent! 🏋🏽

AND

2) Pilates style training to create body and postural awareness. Pilates provides a gentle way to modify exercise when you’re experiencing discomfort and is a great way to challenge pelvic floor muscle relaxation and strength! 🧘🏽‍♀️

Both of these training styles are offered in 1:1, group and class format at both our Ashgrove and West End clinics for mums to be!
