The role of a caregiver is unquestionably significant. It can be fulfilling and demanding, offering its own set of challenges. Many do so out of a desire to support a loved one, as those close to someone with Parkinson's are aware of the challenges the condition can present to both the patient. To prevent burnout, sometimes carers require a gentle reminder of the importance of taking a break for self-care and to do something nice for themselves. 😊

Whilst Parkinson's affects everyone differently, it is important to know what the 10 signs and symptoms of Parkinson's Disease are.

We will be focusing on each of these ten symptoms in more detail throughout the month, so that we can and raise awareness to the community as a whole.

If more people learnt a bit more about Parkinson’s, we can work together to create a supportive community and break any stigma or myths surrounding Parkinson's.
