But taking time to warm up properly not only makes moving feel a whole lot easier - it also helps to reduce your risk of injury. Planning some summer bike rides? 🚴‍♂️
Cycling is a great activity to keep you active, while being low-impact on your joints. If you’re new to cycling, it’s important to set yourself up for success.
Before you ride, adjust your bike seat and pump up your tyres before a ride and take a few minutes to warm up before hopping on the bike.
As you build confidence, start slowly and increase your distance or intensity gradually. Listening to your body and allowing time to recover will help you enjoy cycling and keep it a sustainable part of your routine.
