Hey all! Quick blog today about the correct way to sit on your office chair. Sitting, is the single leading cause of most of the symptoms that people walk into our city practice with. Poor posture, especially when sitting on our chair for hours affects our breathing, lung capacity, energy and confidence (more on that later). Today, we held one of our regular workshops, designed to give our practice members all the information they need to make sure that their chiropractic spinal corrections hold better, and promote healing and spinal stability. Guys, this is how most of us will sit on a daily basis. Can you spot what is happening to the upper neck and back? Did you know that it only takes 20 minutes for our spinal ligaments to strain into these flexed positions? How long do you sit staring at your screen(s)? The best thing to do is to move. Get your sitting set up correct and practice looking around and moving every 20 minutes and see how you feel!
