Happy New Year from Tokyo! 🎉🇯🇵✨

To break up the long journey to Canada we are experiencing the bright lights, busy crossings and beautiful traditions of Tokyo.

As a family, we were lucky to visit the shrines together and take part in Hatsumōde, the first shrine visit of the year.

🎌 Japan celebrates New Year (Shōgatsu) as its most important holiday
🍜 It’s tradition to eat toshikoshi soba to welcome good luck and longevity
⛩ Visiting shrines at the start of the year is a time for reflection, gratitude and setting intentions
🎆 Tokyo keeps New Year’s Eve calm and meaningful, rather than fireworks.

As we wrap up our 2025 clinic year, we want to say a huge thank you to all the pharmacies we collaborate with for your trust, and partnership. Your commitment to hosting clinics has allowed us to support families within the local community in such a meaningful way.
Together, we’ve created welcoming spaces for connection, and care.

I am now heading off on a very special trip to Canada 🇨🇦❄️. After 3 years apart, we’re finally travelling to see my husband’s family. We will be swapping the summer heat for - 20°C temperatures! 🥶✨

Clinics will be taking a short break and will reopen from the 30th January 2026.
While I am away, Carmel will be consulting on Wednesdays for anyone needing support.

Thank you for being part of our village.
Enjoy the celebrations over the festive season, and I look forward to seeing you all soon.
