A lot has changed since National Skin Cancer Action Week launched, 40 years ago,
but one thing that stays the same is the sun’s UV rays, which are as strong as ever.
That’s why it’s crucial that Australians use all five forms of sun protection, ‘Slip, Slop,

Two in three Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime, yet our research shows that young Australians are less inclined to protect themselves during outdoor activities.

Skin cancer is almost entirely preventable by using the five forms of sun protection: Slip into sun-protective clothing, Slop on SPF50+ sunscreen, Slap on a broad-brimmed hat, Seek shade, and Slide on sunglasses.

Make sure to protect yourself when the UV is 3 and above ☀️

🎉 Celebrating Specialist Plastic Surgeons
Dr Ajay Chauhan and Dr Alicia Heald 🎉

We’re celebrating two special milestones —
✨ 4 years of Dr Ajay Chauhan and 2 years of Dr Alicia Heald caring for their patients at AR Plastic Surgery.

As independent specialist plastic surgeons, Dr Chauhan and Dr Heald bring their FRACS (Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) qualifications, compassion and dedication to every patient they care for. It has been a pleasure for AR Plastic Surgery to support their work within our practice.

Here’s to many more years of collaboration and patient-centred care 💛

All invasive surgery carries risk and requires a recovery period and care regime. Be sure you do your research and seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified Specialist Plastic Surgeon before proceeding. Any details are general in nature and are not intended to be medical advice or constitute a doctor-patient relationship.
