WEEK 2 : April Series - Thoracic Kyphosis and Forward Head Posture
From Week 1, we learnt that forward head posture can lead to muscle imbalances where some muscles shorten or tighten. This can then cause symptoms which can get in the way of our day to day lives.
For Week 2, Rhoeda from RNF Coaching and I delve into how we release these tight muscles.

Hi Team!

While many of you were missed at our Awards night, I want to thank all those who came along for their support.

I also want to thank Chantelle Sisco for her amazing catering and organising for the event.

Know that I’m so proud of everyone’s progress in this Challenge and such incredible results in only 8 weeks!

While I’m still working on before and afters, the results of the winners are attached in the challenge report.

Together as a team we were responsible for losing 126kgs!

The winner for the most body fat loss was Jerry Ierome with an impressive loss of 17kgs of weight and 11.5kg of body fat loss.

The winner for the women was May Tihore with a loss of 8.5kgs of weight and 6.6kg body fat loss.

Most muscle mass gain was won by Ben Nolte and Mel Shannon.

Encouragement awards went to Lisa Young, Caylen Webber, Jovan Stockman and Isabella Rankin.

Thanks to each and every one of you for participating in this years NYNM 8 Week Challenge! I hope you all gained something to help you on your health journey.

As we head into Week 6 of our 8 Wk Challenge our last seminar covered the importance of POSITIVE SELF TALK in building healthy habits.

We discussed strategies around:
- turning negative framing into positive framing
- understanding will power and how practising it daily promotes healthy habits
- acknowledging our achievements and learning to be our own inspiration.

Building healthy habits takes time but when we learn to repeatedly make the right decisions without conscious effort, it becomes a way of life.
