Don't wait till next year to start feeling your best!

Sleeping is the time when we repair, our hormones reset, inflammation reduces and energy is restored for the next day ahead!

When we have a poor sleep or disrupted sleep, everything is affected. Your mood, focus, energy, digestion and your ability to cope with stress.

If you're lying awake trying to get to sleep most nights, with thoughts racing, it's your body asking for deeper support!

Try having a nighttime routine: this can look like:
- Having a chamomile tea before bed
- Only lamps on at night time or red light
- Reduced screen time

Need extra support to find what works for you? Only a few months left of the year! Make sure to book your appointment

PTSD, Anxiety & Depression….. when she first came to see me, she was taking 3+ hours to fall asleep, living with constant exhaustion, irregular cycles, acne and gut issues, all while navigating severe anxiety and PTSD.

Fast forward just 3 months and 5 consults later….
- She’s sleeping through the night with NO melatonin
- Her energy has increased from a 3/10-7/10
- Her bowels are regular and not needing laxatives
- Her acne has cleared and her cycles have regulated
- Her hypervigilance has eased
- Beginning to reduce her anti-depressants with her medical team

This wasn’t about quick fixes. It was about finding the root cause, nourishing her nervous system and gut to build consistency.

If you’re tired of patchy symptoms and trying to work things out on your own, know that change is possible! 💛

Following on from my recent post about how 2 eggs at breakfast isn’t quite enough protein, I still want to give eggs the love they deserve.

They’re an incredible source of protein, healthy fats, and essential nutrients like B vitamins and choline (very important for mood and nervous system health).

Having chickens at home has been a game changer, not just for cutting out the supermarket middleman, but for feeling more connected t where my food comes from.

Some of my favourite ways to make eggs into a high protein rich meal include:
- Veggie loaded omelettes with cheese and smoked salmon
- Frittatas partied with greens and feta
- Shakshuka with beans or lentils

It’s all about building a balanced plate so your body is fuelled throughout the day!

Chia pudding 3 ways! A great batch cooking breakfast or snack idea. It’s one of my favourite recipes coming into the warmer months, so easy to prepare for the week.

3 flavour combos:
- Mango and coconut
- Acai berry
- Banana, buckwheat and cinnamon
Method: mix chia seeds with water, almond or coconut milk, honey or a little stevia. Soak overnight until it sets, then blend or stir through your flavour of choice!

A simple way to support your gut health, balance blood sugar levels and enjoy a nutrient packed breakfast for the whole week!

Spring is here! A new season always brings a natural shift in how and what we eat. Moving from heavier, warming meals into lighter, fresher foods.

This is the perfect time to enjoy crisp salads, fresh fruit, vibrant herbs, and colourful vegetables that fuel energy and support digestion. Seasonal produce not only tastes better, it gives your body exactly what it needs as we head into longer days and warmer weather.

Add more colour to your place, try something new that you’ve never seen at the markets, and enjoy simple nourishment that comes with eating in tune with the seasons! 🌿

I’ve been loving the mushroom variety at the markets lately and strawberries are coming back in season!

2 eggs for breakfast might feel like a “healthy choice” … but it’s not nearly enough protein to fuel your day.Your body needs closer to 30g of protein at breakfast to support:

ďż˝- Steady energy (no 3pm crash)ďż˝
- Muscle repair + strengthďż˝
- Mental clarity + calmer moodsďż˝
- A faster metabolism

When you under-eat protein, you’ll notice sugar cravings, mood swings, fatigue, and that constant struggle to feel strong in your body.

The good news? A few simple swaps at breakfast can completely change how you feel throughout the day.

👉 Save this post for protein-packed breakfast ideas you can start using tomorrow.

When life feels heavy or anxious, food can become an afterthought.
Skipping meals, grabbing whatever’s quick, or relying on sugar just to get through, it happens.
But your nervous system needs fuel. Your brain runs on nutrients. And steady, nourishing meals are one of the most supportive things you can offer yourself right now.
Start small.

Come back to the basics:
1. Eat 3 grounding meals a day
2. Include protein with each one
3. Add warm, cooked foods that feel like a hug from the inside out

Nourish yourself like you matter because you do.
What’s one meal that always helps you feel grounded?
