Managing Chronic PAIN tip 2 of 10
Reduce stress in your life. Stress intensifies chronic pain.

Negative feelings like depression, anxiety, stress, and anger can increase the body's sensitivity to pain. By learning to take control of stress, you can get relief from chronic pain.
When you experience ongoing pain, it has a huge emotional impact on your life - it is stressful and that stress often makes you feel even worse, and that tension increases the physical pain levels even more because your mind and body experiences even more distress.

One of the key processes we cover during wellness coaching is enabling you to let go of negative emotions, shedding the anger, sadness and fear so you can feel freer, more in control. Most of our coaching clients experience noticeable pain relief when they succeed at letting go of the negative emotions that weigh them down.

Some techniques Next Gen Wellness use to help you release negative emotions and promote relaxation include hypnotherapy, listening to soothing, calming music, mental imagery relaxation (also called guided imagery) and timeline technique.

Dani specialises in helping people to overcome chronic conditions and provides tools and strategies enabling people to enjoy life again and live it to the full.

Dani Hewton is a qualified teacher and wellness coach. She uses infrared technology, traditional counselling, hypnotherapy, neuro linguistic programming, timeline, EFT and other techniques to enable her clients to reduce their physical and emotional pain and distress so that they can feel better, move better, think better, do better and be better.

In 2020 Dani added, state of the art, Infrared technology into her arsenal of wellness tools, after discovering it's incredible healing power through her search to help her husband, Rob, to overcome chronic back, foo and shoulder pain caused through serious injuries and osteoarthritis.

Rob was told he was unlikely to ever work again and was taking large, debilitating doses of strong painkillers, anti-inflammatory, nerve blockers and steroids for over 2 years. As a result of the relief provided by the infrared cocoon and sauna, Rob has managed to stop taking most of his medication and is now functioning better, moving better, thinking better and is now even able to work again.

Ongoing chronic pain impacts everyone in the sufferer’s life. The stress and frustration can seriously damage relationships and the self-worth and security of the sufferers loved ones. Dani uses the infrared technology to bring the pain and stress down to a manageable level so that the client is able to cope better and the coaching can work its magic
