Australia's hidden epidemic - Chronic Wounds!

A new survey conducted by Wounds Australia has uncovered surprising insights into what Australians know– and don't know– about chronic wounds.

More than 450,000 people live with a chronic wound in this country every year, at an annual expensive to our health and aged care budgets of more than $6.6 billion. Wound care research shows that many costly and impactful wounds could have been prevented or healed sooner with the right treatment at the right time.

We are starting our influenza vaccination clinics from the 1st of May 2025!

The vaccines are free for everyone regardless of age group or whether you have a chronic disease like asthma.

The reason we are starting this programme a bit later rather than in April is because nowadays our influenza season do extend later until September or even October.

So having your 'flu' vaccine in May or June is just perfect to keep the bug away the entire winter and even until early spring!

Our ever so talented receptionist Bonnie hand made this huge bunny to celebrate this season of renewal and hope. We wish all our patients and friends an Easter filled with joy and new beginnings.
