It’s National Skin Cancer Action Week, a timely reminder to protect, check, and detect. 🧴👒

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, but most cases can be prevented or detected early with regular skin checks and sun protection.

🌤️ Remember the five key steps:

- Slip on clothing
- Slop on SPF 30+
- Slap on a hat
- Seek shade
- Slide on sunglasses

If it’s been more than a year since your last skin check, book in with your GP or skin specialist today, early detection saves lives.

Did you know menopause doesn’t happen overnight?

It’s a gradual process that typically begins with perimenopause, when hormone levels start to fluctuate. This stage can bring symptoms such as:

👉 Hot flushes & night sweats
👉 Irregular periods
👉 Mood changes
👉 Trouble sleeping
👉 Vaginal dryness

Menopause is officially reached when a woman has had no periods for 12 months. After this, the postmenopause stage begins, where symptoms may ease but long-term health risks (like bone thinning and heart health changes) become important to manage.

💡 Every woman’s experience is different, but support is available. Our team can provide advice, treatment options, and lifestyle guidance to help you navigate this stage of life with confidence.
