The day began gently, out on the water.

We set off for a sunrise boat tour, the sky slowly waking around us. Soft light on the horizon, the ocean calm, a quiet sense of reflection settling in. There was a stillness in the group, a shared awareness that something meaningful had come to completion.

Back on land, breakfast was slower. Conversations softer. Moments savoured.

Soon after, we gathered one last time for our closing ceremony. A space to reflect, to share, to honour the journey each woman has been on, both seen and unseen.

There was gratitude. There were tears. There was laughter too.

And beneath it all, a quiet knowing that something has shifted. Something that will continue to unfold long after leaving this place.

Bags were packed. Goodbyes exchanged, not as endings, but as the beginning of something new.

Because this is the nature of these retreats. You arrive as strangers, and leave with something deeper. Connection, clarity, and a remembrance of who you truly are.

Until next time 🌿

If you feel called to experience this for yourself, you’re warmly invited to join us on the next Bali retreat.

Day 4 arrived quietly, opening with morning yoga and meditation as bodies and breath met once again.

Something is shifting now. The women are moving differently.

Slower.
Softer.
More present.

There is space here.

After breakfast, the morning opened into unstructured time. Some lingered, some rested, some simply followed what their body needed. A gentle rhythm, without urgency.

Later, we gathered again for yoga and yoga nidra, inviting an even deeper letting go. A softening not just in the body, but in the mind, in the nervous system, in the way each woman is meeting herself.

The middle of the day unfolded gently. Nourishing lunch, followed by hours of open space. Spa treatments, long swims, rest, reflection. Time stretched out. Nothing to rush to. Nowhere else to be.

The energy has softened. The doing has fallen away. What remains is simply being.

As the afternoon drew to a close, we gathered for sound healing. Waves of sound moving through the body, settling into places that words cannot reach. There was a depth to it. A quiet, internal unfolding.

This retreat is working quietly now, beneath the surface.

You can feel it.

If this speaks to something within you, there are a few spaces remaining for our September 2026 Bali retreat.

And if your timing is further away, the May 2027 priority waitlist is open for those who feel called to join us in the future.

Follow the feeling. It will guide you.

As the seasons turn here in Australia, I always find myself returning to the wisdom of Ayurveda.

It was during my time in ashrams in Australia and India that I was first introduced to Ayurveda, this ancient wisdom of living in rhythm with nature, where our daily choices around food, rest, and routine shape every aspect of our wellbeing.

Here in Autumn, the qualities of Vata are evident in nature. You may be noticing it already. Vata is air - cold, dry, light, rough, subtle, and always moving.
This can show up as dry skin, disturbed sleep, anxious thoughts, or a sense of restlessness that feels hard to settle.

Ayurveda reminds us that we are not separate from these seasonal shifts. It gently guides us to adjust how we live, eat, and care for ourselves so we can stay balanced as the external environment changes.

In fact, Vata is very often the first dosha to go out of balance whatever the season.

Even if it is not your primary constitution, keeping Vata steady is one of the most supportive things you can do for your physical health and your mental wellbeing - especially in a world that already carries so much Vata energy through constant movement, technology, and doing.

In the blog, you'll find simple, practical ways to support calm, steadiness, and ease as the season shifts and help keep Vata in Balance.

Autumn is a transformational time. Nature sheds its summer colour and welcomes the deep, nourishing hues that mark the start of rest or rejuvenation. In Ayurveda, autumn is a time of lightness; of airiness; of brittleness and change. It holds the potential for creative inspiration and productivi

Today unfolded in nature, in movement, and in the simple joy of being.

After our morning yoga, mantra, and meditation practice, we set off with our beloved guide Gede, who has been walking alongside these retreats since 2016, for a gentle jungle walk to a hidden waterfall.

As we wandered, Gede shared stories of the land, the plants, and the people with his usual warmth and quiet wisdom. The path carried us through lush, living green, and when we reached the waterfall, it felt as though it had been waiting just for us.

There was laughter, cool water against warm skin, and a lightness that comes when the body feels safe enough to fully let go.

The afternoon softened into spaciousness. Some drifted to the spa, others floated in the pool, while a few simply rested on their daybeds, eyes closed, soaking in the stillness. A little sun. A deep exhale.

Later, we gathered again for yoga nidra and breathwork, followed by another beautiful meal shared in ease, connection, and quiet joy.

If you feel even the slightest pull as you read this, our next Bali retreat will take place from 25 September to 1 October 2026, with just 6 places remaining.

And if the timing feels like “not yet, but soon”, the priority waitlist for May 2027 is now open. You’ll be invited to join first, after our returning women, when spaces are released.

Trust that you’ll know when the moment is right. This space will be here, ready to receive you.

It started with a pause…

A few days away from everything, where nothing was needed of you.
No roles to hold, nowhere to rush off to. Just space to breathe again.

Back in March, something really special unfolded in the hinterlands of Sydney.
Women arrived carrying a lot, and left feeling softer, lighter, more like themselves again.

And even now, they’re still sharing how that feeling has stayed with them.

A sense of calm, connection, and space to just breathe.

I hadn’t planned to run another one so soon… but the call for it was undeniable.

So we’re gathering again this Spring 🌿

From 6–9 September 2026, we’ll return to Swami’s Retreat Centre for a few gentle days of yoga, mantra, breath, sound, stillness… and deep rest.

A space to reset.
To reconnect.
To remember what it feels like to simply be.

If something in you softens reading this… trust that 🤍

Spots are already quietly filling and there are only 3 ensuite rooms left.

There’s something about Easter that invites a quiet pause…

A moment to soften, to breathe, and to gently return to yourself.
So today, rather than rushing past it…You might simply take a breath.

Place a hand on your heart.
And notice the steadiness that’s already there… the calm, the quiet, the space within you that remains untouched.

This is what we come back to.
This is what we practise.

Easter is a gentle reminder of the light and steadiness within you.
Wishing you a soft, spacious and heart-filled Easter 🤍

Chetana

Over the years, I have learned that transformation does not come from intensity. It comes from being thoughtfully held.

This retreat is not simply a timetable of yoga, mantra mediations and treatments.
It is the atmosphere we create.

The small details.

The care behind each day. The moments that are not advertised but quietly woven in.

That is what makes it feel different.

If you would like to understand how this journey unfolds and whether it feels right for you, I would love you to join me for our live Info Session.

Lately, I’ve been paying even closer attention to my breath.

In the busier moments of the day, I notice how simply choosing to breathe more steadily brings me back to myself. One deeper inhale, a longer exhale, and my whole system starts to settle.

After chanting, or resting in Yoga Nidra, the breath feels spacious and natural. My body softens. My mind quietens. There is a sense of being held from within.

I am reminded, again and again, that presence lives inside each breath. Not in the next thing on the list, but right here.

May this be your reminder to pause, breathe, and give yourself a moment of stillness today.

Warmly,
Chetana

I’m so looking forward to spending an afternoon with my very first Nāda Yoga teacher, Anandra, as she shares The Sanskrit Story of Creation and Consciousness — a journey through sacred sound, mantra, and meaning.

If you’ve ever felt the power of vibration to shift your energy, this one’s for you.

Expect a rich, heart-opening blend of sound, wisdom, and kirtan led by Geeti & Gyan.

As the world feels uncertain and heavy at times, Diwali reminds us of a simple truth: the light we seek outside must first be kindled within.

When we tend to our inner flame — through presence, compassion, stillness, and clarity — the way we see and experience the world begins to change. Our outer reality is a projection of the state of our inner world.

This Diwali, may we each choose to clear the shadows of doubt, fear, and separation. May we honour the radiance of peace and love that lives in us all.

The greatest offering we can give is to become a light for ourselves and others. 🌟

Wishing you a Diwali filled with stillness, strength, and a spark that continues to shine long after the lamps are extinguished.

With warmth,
Chetana x
