Good morning friends, today I'm kicking off stage 2 of my eating plan. It now feels right after all the studies and family events that landed for us last year.
This time I'm focusing on ways to eat really simply and budget friendly, wholesome, always made from scratch, time friendly, with fresh ingredients. And this time it is suitable for the seasonal change into winter.
Have you noticed that you might be looking for heavier food or more foods as we move toward winter?
There are a few reasons for that.
1. The body naturally wants to store a little extra for the colder months. It is a hard one to take when you've spent spring and summer months focusing on all the things!
2. Here's the clincher... Our Emotions!!! It doesn't matter what your dress size or clothing size, EVERYONE emotionally eats.
So if we can clear out the emotions like, anger, sadness, guilt, shame etc we can liberate ourselves from emotional eating.
You see it's not possible to just be a good boy or girl, man or woman and use willpower because most humans rarely use their will power which is actually an 'act of will'. This takes a deep conscious action and when there are a whole lot of other survival mechanisms going on triggered unconscious behaviours, it's pretty impossible to have willpower. Ie willpower takes a high level of consciousness.
I'm not saying that is you, I'm talking about the general populace if you get my drift. But it might be you also in a particular part of your life.

So here's the simplicity of this breakfast - did you know you can't find rice bubbles without added ingredients? (I'm not saying they are not available but they also come with a price tag)
I wanted a light breakfast so this is 4 thin brown rice cakes, broken up, 3 huge strawberry's chopped and 1/4 cup of your preferred milk or Mylk.
Add a warm cuppa of Turmeric + 12 herb Latte add 6 drops of cayenne tincture for warmth and deeper herb activation.
That's my breakfast this morning. 🥣☕
