Brag moment. 2 of my clients having an amazing weekend.

The trainer that had 2 wins with her mare and gelding contacted me last week with concerns with the movement of the mare. I massaged both of her horses that were racing this weekend.

The mare was very tight and restricted in the front end as well as off side hamstring. I did everything I could and she showed great improvement. A few hints and tips I handed onto the jockey and trainer for the week leading up.
The big fella is well a big guy. His back is like a limo, so tight through there. I gave him a full treatment and also worked on his lonnnng legs. He won my heart such a beautiful kind gentle giant.

The other trainer, I massage her horses regularly. The horse "George" is another giant fellow. Another limo with back tightness.

All 3 winning their races this weekend and receiving this feedback is what makes me thrive.

Great clients, great horses deserve only the best treatment and care.

Couldn't be happier.

This is a really helpful image we found online, that shows how beans can affect the flow of urine.

Beans do not form inside the urethra, rather in a pocket NEXT to it. So as the bean is building up, depending on how it is lodged, it pushes up against the urethra, squashing it.

Size is irrelevant, it doesn’t have to be a big bean for it to push against the urethra and impact how the horse urinates. The horse can also have a huge bean and it cause no issue whatsoever to the flow of urine. So if your horse is urinating normally, it does not mean he doesn’t have one.

When it does cause trouble for them in regards to urinating, it can cause your horse to then not want to drink as much water as they normally would - as you can imagine, this can then lead to further issues for your horse.
This is why you sometimes see your horse chugging a load of water post bean removal.
