Having it linked means you can share accurate, up-to-date health information with your doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals, which helps them give you the best possible care.

We are pleased to inform you about some important updates and reminders that will enhance your experience with our services.
Firstly, we are excited to announce the updated version of the AMS Connect phone app. This app will make online bookings easier and more convenient for you. The app is available for Apple and Android users. We highly encourage you to download the app to streamline your appointment scheduling. There is also an option to add other family members to your app so you can keep on top of appointments for all your family in one place.

Secondly, please be aware that all SMS communications from our practice will now come from the phone number 0447 496 786. Please save this number in your contacts to ensure you recognize our messages.

We also encourage our regular patients to take the time to register for MyMedicare. To find out about the MyMedicare patient registration model, and find out the benefits for patients and healthcare providers, click on this link for up to date information from the Dept of Health and Aged Care.

Regarding the holiday season, our practice will be closed from Wednesday, 25th December and will reopen on Thursday, 2nd January 2025. We kindly ask that you check your prescriptions with plenty of time before the Christmas break, as we often have fewer GPs available leading up to the holidays. Ensuring you have all necessary medications will help avoid any inconvenience.

Our online booking system has recently upgraded the AMS Connect app.
We encourage all our patients to download the AMS connect app to your mobile device to keep updated with all your appointments.

We would also encourage you to add mobile phone number 0447496786 to your contacts, so that you can be confident that all messages and reminders are from Ayr Medical Group. (Please do not send sms to that number however, as it is not monitored)
