So, we get asked a lot about the after birth p**p.
Like we mean a LOT!
We understand the đââïž because itâs talked about a lot & it seems to be wrapped in fear.
Where do you think this fear come from?
Like you birthed a baby out you va-ja-ja why couldnât you get out a p**p.
So we wanna talk about the after-birth p**p đ©
But, Not the one right after birth, no, no.
The one down the track.
Like the after birth, p**p, p**p, p**p, p**p, p**pâŠâŠ.
You know, when youâre deep in the newborn haze
Downing coffee instead of water.
Living on nibbles of food.
And on the daily asking yourself every afternoon:
âWhen did I actually last have a drink?â
That p**p?
That one took me longer to push out than my first baby. No joke.
We want you to pass that p**p with no issues, that you actually go, âthose gals at The Womanhood Space are wrong because I never had a p**p that took me longer to push out then my baby.â
So for you get there, this what we wanna share with you
đŠ Hydrate, like actually hyđdrateđ - like your p**p depends on it
Great options to try are coconut water, Hydramumma, hydrolyte, and adrenal cocktails (google it).
đ„Ł Eat fibre daily! pears, prunes, and tasteless fibre powder in your hydration drinks is an awesome option (like multitasking motherhood right there)
So when it comes to p**ping (& this applies to the actual after birth p**p, the one everyone talk about)
đ§ Donât force it. Wait until your body is actually like itâs coming girl! Then Breathe. Diaphragmatic breathing is your best friend. (Check YouTube it will show how to breathe your p**p out)
đŠ¶ Feet up on a stool (or rolls of toilet paper) hello, squat position.
Actually after birth âł It might take a few days after birth to go p**p. Thatâs normal. Your body has just done a big work around to labour, so it needs a few days to regroup.
If yourđš Passing wind, Youâre on track, things are re grouping and you will be p**ping soon. Promise.
Happy p**ping đ©
