We are very pleased to let everyone know that we have opened up the block alongside our car park for use as an overflow parking area for funeral services held at our Chapel.

We have removed several fence panels to allow access directly from our existing parking area, as well as the entry / exit directly from the block into Mill Street.

People have expressed concern of getting trapped in the car park when they need to leave to return to work or keep an appointment. This has led to many choosing to park on the medium directly in front of our chapel on the Princes Highway.

We have long feared the possibility of a tragic accident as people cross the merging traffic to reach the Chapel and return to their cars following a service.

We invite visitors to use this new overflow area at their discretion, hoping that it adds some convenience and keeps everyone attending our services as safe as possible.

A celebration of life for Ronald ‘Ron, Ronnie’ Johnstone will be held at the Orbost Snowy Rovers Football Clubrooms, Lochiel Street, Orbost, on Wednesday (Feb. 11th), 2026 at 11.00am.

In keeping with Ron’s wishes a private cremation has been held.
