Bairnsdale medical Group is a dynamic, modern clinic located in Bairnsdale, East Gippsland. The clinic is staffed by a team of experienced doctors who also provide services to the local hospital. They are ably assisted by a caring and professional team of Nursing and Allied health professionals.

About you
The right person for this job will be able to manage the administrative functions of the clinic including scheduling, billing, and record keeping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Be able to lead a team of 14 doctors, 7 administrative and 6 nursing staff.
Oversee the Human Resource functions of the clinic including hiring staff and performance reviews.
Implement and enforce and manage clinic procedures and policy to a level which at least maintain regulatory standards.
Utilize technology to enhance patient care delivery.
Foster relationships and networks with patients, staff and external providers to promote a strong and welcoming environment.
Monitor financial performance to optimize revenue and minimize costs.
Collaborate with the Practice partners to set and achieve performance driven goals.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills and qualifications
It would be advantageous for the candidate to show skills in the following areas:
Demonstrated experience in healthcare administration and administration.
A strong knowledge of clinical governance, compliance requirements, billing practices and the Medicare schedule.
Extensive experience in Practice management software (Medical Director and Pracsoft) and the Microsoft Office suite.
Previous experience in 1st level information technology support.
