Hi,

I am faciliating our Social Skills Connection Group for older kids aged 10-13yo next term.( Max 6 young people with NDIS funding)

It is facilitated by myself, a speech pathologist and AHA. It is welcoming group where we explicitly teach social skills, using discussion, videos (of young people demostrating and not demonstrating the skill) and structured activities to practice the new skill.

The goals are on the flyer, but these may be adjusted to suit the participants.

This an 8-week group for 18-25-year-olds who want to talk about social skills using videos and discussion to build confidence in their own relationships. It is also an opportunity to make connections with like-minded young people in a supportive environment.
